I am really excited about this. I took ten fan favorites from the first five of my Moment's Notice ebook series and made a dvd of them plus three previously unpublished tricks. I haven't seen the finished product yet and I don't know when BBM is releasing it (soon, I believe), but if it turned out half as good as I think it did, it should be killer. All of the material on here is relatively easy to do, off beat and really fun.

Here's a trailer. No full performances but I do talk a bit about the project and there are clips:

Judging by the series of PDF's - this should be quite a purchase. Looking forward to it!

Thanks, guys!

Yes, I have a feeling India Reynolds is gonna move some units!... I mean, DVDs... I mean she's the reason the DVDs will sell... Oh, never mind...

I guess Cameron's plan is to become the Warren Beatty of magic.

Amber Heard, India Reynolds, Aldo Colombini... who's next?!

I'd be hard pressed to think of any other DVD, besides some of Aldo's which contain all completely impronptu card material which doesn't require any other props. Not even a sharpie. This is truly grab a deck and go material.

And that's why I think this is going to be one of the most anticipated releases.

I, for one, cant wait - as that is my preferred method of work - borrowed deck just handed to me.

Good luck with it Cameron. I'll be early in the queue.

There is a real and legitimate demand of impromptu card magic and I was quite frankly surprised that on the dvd market, Aldo had been the only one to jump on the wagon for many years now.

Couldn't agree more King.

Lybrary.com is also a good source of impromptu single trick downloads by the likes of Peter Duffie and Cameron too (I think) - but you've gotta search around. There is quite a comprehensive list of downloadable video somewhere on their site. Some of which go for as little as $2. You could quite easily 'produce' your own collection for the price of a $25 DVD.

Anyway - back on topic...

Peter has released a few terrific impromptu single trick videos. Aldo certainly has some, mostly on impromptu packet tricks. All good stuff.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. And spread the word. If people dig this project enough, we'll do a second one.

People always complain like, "Oh I don't like it because there is a gimmick", or "a set-up", or "too many sleights", or "not practical", "angle sensitive", "just a one-trick dvd", etc...

Frankly, I don't see how people couldn't dig it.

Wow two great magic releases before Christmas one by Mr Carey and the second by Mr Francis.

Any news on the release date of Ultimate Impromptu Card Magic?

No clue. I would assume pretty soon but I don't know when. Yes, John's release looks awesome. The two will probably compliment each other nicely.

Just a side note - and I AM REALLY looking forward to this (and John Carey's 24/7) - but I wish folk would avoid the use of the words, "Ultimate" and, dare I say it again, "Bonus Items" on their titles and sales blurb. They really do suck! Or am I the only one? Unless it is, of course, Cameron's last word on that subject. (And let's hope it's not!) But "Ultimate" is an oft overused word in magic releases these days, which, in my view, might undermine an otherwise potential best seller with sigh inducing anathema.

And so my Christmas magic wishlist has to be revised *again*. Looking forward to this as ever, Cameron. Any idea on price yet?

Most likely the $30 to $30 price range. I'm speculating but I think it will be the standard rate for most multi-trick dvds.
