Looks like a great illusion, Paul. I'll have to keep it in mind!

Is the briefcase always on the table? Can it be removed?
It is always great to see an illusion that doesn't look like a cheesy, sparkly doodad. But if the briefcase can be moved, that would make it awesome. |

I got one a few months ago. One day I will get around to make it.

Got my book in the mail today. Skimmed through the pages and its doable. Not deceptive as a base but definitely something to consider if you want to perform surrounded.
Oh yeah, hackmonkey, yes you can remove the briefcase from the table top. |

Hi all
Yes you can remove the case from the table. The original presentation was MC walks out with a case, can't find magician but has his 'props'. Places case on table and hey presto magician makes appearance. These days I produce the appearing ladder from the case. So lid of case opens and a ladder comes out by itself, then I come up. It looks amazing as it really looks as though I climb up the ladder out of the case. You don't have to use a case - you can use anything. I had to produce a person from a gift box once and so had a gift box made. Limited only by your imagination. Actually you don't even have to produce anybody. You can use the case for your act and have things jump out - stretch your arm etc. Nobody ever has to come out of the case but having a person hidden inside gives you extra scope for many different possibilities. We used it for a TV show with a puppet once. I'm always happy to answer private PMs about any of my products so please, if you have any specific questions you can always drop me a line.

I got this a few days ago. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed by the footage I saw in the trailer (too dark) however after seeing the guys on Wizard Product review I decided I would check it out.
The book is well written and very easy to understand. There are a ton of pictures and illustrations making the build very easy to understand, not that it's a difficult build to begin with. Paul also gives you access to an online video which helps further illustrate things. I think what I like about this most is all of the different applications. There are so many different things you can do with it. I'm going to begin construction of mine in the next couple of weeks and have the perfect spot for it in my show. I'm really looking forward to using this. Thanks for releasing such well-thought-out plans. |
