I'm inventing a new schtick which calls on a mime to perform some really funny magic.
Can anyone advise me on which illusions I should consider? They need to be top notch...really funny...props are OK for this mime. I will have 3 audience members available, too, FYI. I need laughs...big ones...from kids and adults Thx

Just about anything can be done with mime and made funny with a persona or situation.
I've been playing around with Sympathetic silks. Children and adults alike are amazed by knots untying/tying. The knot travelling could easily be made into comedy. Just be frustrated the knots aren't where you left them, and maybe order them back. All the classics work will work, just pick them up, fiddle, play and expand. There are no rules. |

I've seen Vito Lupo do the sponge balls from the mouth silently, and was very entertaining and funny.

I heard from a friend that anecdotal evidence is actually quite reliable. |

I believe one aspect as a unique mime is working with the invisible. Perhaps some invisible schticks...Anyone ever see the stationary balloon routine? The mime tries to move a balloon - but can't. The magic is the mime's movement - almost like a ballet of sorts.
Now I need some funny stuff only a weird mind could conjour - so I can build upon it and make it mine.

Try woprking with a Zombie gimick. Perhaps not using a zombie ball. Be creative any thing can be annimated with this gimick and a mime is natural with this type of material.
