Good Morning,
Have you been waiting on God for something you feel is important? God’s Timing Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” I encourage all of you to wait upon God, as His timing is never late, and His plan for our lives is perfect. Sometimes, it is not even our lack of ability to wait, as it is simply our inability to hear God. We are actually waiting on something that God has already answered “NO” to. And while we know this in our spirit, we sometimes think we know better than God what is good for us, and we either pout until we manufacture what we want, or we resent and doubt God, because we don’t! It is imperative that we get grow more intimate in our relationship with God, hear his voice, trust in His faithfulness, accept His will and be obedient to what He is saying to us. I encourage you, “to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”. Proverbs 3:5 “In all your ways acknowledge Him and he will make your paths straight”. Proverbs 3:6 God does have a plan, and it is essential that we learn to wait upon the Lord, instead of creating something that appears to be God, but is actually manufactured by us, in our own strength, due to our lack of patience and ability to wait out God’s timing. It is always important for us to remember that God does not need our help in glorifying Him! And glorifying Him is all we really desire to do, when we are engrafted and remaining in Him. David spoke from experience when he penned, “Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD”. Psalm 27:14 “Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it.” Psalm 37:34 “I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope”. Psalm 130:5 “In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation”. Psalm 5:3 And while we should make our requests known to God and wait in expectation, it should be a patient expectation, which accepts whatever His will is for each request. This can only come about by denying our selves each morning and taking up our cross and following Christ. Luke 9:23 When we abide in Christ each day John 15:4, then denying ourselves becomes a more natural desire, and we find ourselves able to more easily wait for God’s answer. "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him”. Lamentations 3:24 have a great day in the LORD sam
