Looking for ideas for lighting Torches for an Illusion, didn't want to just pull out a lighter. Thanks.

Inviso Torch would be good. You take the torches in hand, catching the Inviso torch, light the inviso torch and possible light two toches at once, and the inviso torch dissapears, so it all magic.

I hate to admit to being so incredibly low-tech but for years I made my stage torches out of half-inch EMT conduit with the Kevlar wicking riveted to the top and a small electric Bic lighter taped a few inches below the torch head. The dancers would hold one hand by the lighter and the other hand near the bottom of the torch. With virtually no movement they could push down on the lighter and the torch lit up perfectly every time. I also made a fancier one at one time with the lighter at the bottom of the conduit and a small rolled strip of flash paper extending from the torch head down to a hole by the lighter where the flash paper came out. It looked really good but for all of the extra trouble the other ones were just so much more efficient in my case.
