Steve,

I agree with Bob. The control on the arm rod is brilliant. Great job!

That is so cooooooool!!!!

Placing the control on the elbow rod is a brilliant idea. Aside from the fact that your are a fantastic puppet maker, you are a fantastic performer as well so you know a performer's situation as far as manipulation is concerned.

I don't think you will sell a puppet with manual animations that you yourself can't perform with or at least explain how to perform with... you always ship your puppets with instructions and suggestions on how to use them. You even suggest ways on how to take care of your puppets.

I hope you make the blinking eye option available for your other puppets, the rabbit puppet with blinkers would be awesome.

Unlike something I recently bought... the maker cant even explain how to use the animations in conjunction with the mouth movement... much more use it himself to demonstrate. With all due respects but I am never buying anything again from that puppet maker in China.

This is definitely cool Axtell.

However, there is a question from me on maintenance & usage.

It seems like there is a 'thread' that runs from the eyes to the arm, will the 'thread' break or get stuck due to long-term use?

It's a very safe system, we use an amazing 65 lb Spectra line which is even hard to cut with a razor blade! It is housed inside a cable sheath, and the assembly is smooth without any rough edges. All of the knots or ties are super glued for permanent holding as well. Designing and assembling this is quite a "bear" but it is built for reliability and we stand behind all of our work as usual.

We will first offer this to the Axtell Power Users group.... http://www.network54.com/Forum/149423/th......ER+USERS

if you are a Power User and haven't registered... get me your group photo asap!

I just Googled Spectra line, nice stuff! I definitely would trust your work, just wanted to clarify certain things which I believe most users may want to ask too. Smile

I'll be submitting my power user photo next year, a little too busy this year end for me!
