Can someone suggest me some really good tricks or routines using blank faced deck? The only effect I do right now is the Blizzard from Penguin Magic. I get awesome reactions every time I perform it. So I would like to learn some more tricks using these cards.
Thanks. |

Ascanio's treatment on the Nudist Deck from vol. 3 of the Magic of Ascanio series is excellent.

That would seem to cover a blank deck and would explain why your thread was moved here from The Workers, which is (ostensibly) dedicated to pure sleight of hand.

I need tricks using only blank faced deck and maybe normal deck, without gimmicks.

I do a routine using cards that are blank on both sides, where a signature from one spectator jumps to the back of a card signed by another spectator. The routine itself is one I developed just based on a concept that a friend of mine told me about, though I understand there's a couple similar routines in print. It's needing a few minor tweaks to perfect the handling, but it's very practical and no reset needed. I haven't written up the routine yet, though.
Come to think of it, you could perform Anniversary Salsa with a blank deck, using signatures instead of selections.

Hi Suren,
Mark Leveridge (UK) puts out a blank deck routine called BRAINSTORMER which is very good. His website is http://www.markleveridge.co.uk and there is a video demo section which has a full demo of Brainstormer. Hope that this is helpful, All the best Mike |

You may want to look at the A Little Bit Mental download by Alan Rorrison. His effect called Placebo uses a blank faced deck.
Good Luck |

Put one card in the deck, spread it so only the spectator can see it, but you can't and say, " If any card in this deck seems to be more noticeable than the rest, remember it. Got it?"
Go into a mind read and when done ask, "Is that the card you saw in the deck I just showed you? Isn't that amazing? Thank you for helping out!" There are a bunch of ideas with a blank deck. Bryan
Oh sure, I can spell "Antidisestablishmentarianism", but I can't type t-h-e.
