I'm not exactly new but did not know where else to post this. Interested in joining the The Learned Pig Project but the application page does not work. Any suggestions?

There was some trouble with his Email list, I think some guys hacked it and it was an open list so every one got 100 messages / day. It took 3-4 days to stop everything and it was a little bit annoying.

Thanks for the link Doug! The Learned Pig Project is a very valuable resource, I was disappointed that it got shut down.

Access requires a name and password. Anyway to sneak in the back door or get a password by emailing the owner? Thanks

Not sure about that, guys! This works for existing members, but I don't know about new members and signing up.

OK, finally, I see that The Learned Pig is gone-gone. I was able to get in successfully a week or two ago. I tried logging in today, and got the "page is not available". :-(

There is an alternative site with most of the same stuff on it that took over from LP. I don't know if they are taking anymore members.

The proper place to be is Chris Wasshuber's Lybrary.com. He will be (with permission) hosting Marco's content some time soon. Ciao for now Erik

Lyrary.com is now hosting some of the TLPP content but most of the books are not there. Maybe the site is still under construction. The articles and some of the other content is hosted there though.

From what I can see, they sell a good chunk of it on disk/ebook format. Some of the stuff they host for free.

I sure hope TLPP stuff remains free. It's getting hard to find free material any more. Everyone's gotta make a buck! Nothing wrong with that, but people like me on a limited (VERY LIMITED!) pension gotta find all the free stuff we can!
