This thing is a pen that looks like a pencil. I'm wondering if the idea has ever been used before in mentalism, or if I just stumbled upon something pretty cool. Just wanted to share with the Café. Idea: Use the pencil to make an "additional" touch to your prediction (such as a signature) after the information has been obtained. I know this idea is not original, however the gimmick may be new. Let me know if this comes in handy for anyone! The potential problem I can see from this particular website is that they "choose" which color they will give you (on the tip), but I'm sure they would be happy to honor a request via email, although I have no connection to this website so have no idea. They all apparently write in blue ink though, so that is a plus (in my opinion). |

I have one...they are too chunky and don't feel like a pencil in any way...
better off using those pens from grand illusions, that look like a nice silvery/chrome pen that never runs out...but when you write with it, it looks like pencil...

My point was, it doesn't look like a regular pencil, but an oversized big n chunky one...one that I have never seen available as a regular pencil!
http://www.grand-illusions.com/acatalog/Beta_Pen.html there's a pocket version for the obvious use... but to be honest, apart from using water-proof ink if I'm in a busy and/or rowdy bar, I just stick to standard pencils...
