I would appreciate all the help I can get if you want you can email me directly on jordan@stageone.gi Here are some other acts - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpEjinz3dg4 - I look foward to hearing what you think and how we can improved. for us its very diffucult to get magical guuidence due to the lack of it in our area. Thanks a million jordan |

In the first clip there was some dead time before the illusion actually started. also. try to smile and be engaging to the audience..if it looks like your having fun..do will the audience. Your assistant's exit from the box was not very graceful either and you may want to figure out a new way for that. But over all pretty good

Hello Jordan,
It's difficult to advice you by words on internet. A few remarks I wil give you for the moment. What's important is the way you're moving on the stage. You are walking "heavy" now. You can overcome that by taking dance class (classic and flamenco). The basic important moves are pose and flair and that you will find in dance. Also important is the eye contact you make with the audience. Be happy, it's not a funeral. For now: what your act needs is a director/choreographer. that's more important than the magical guidance, you're asking for. You can start by asking yourself some questions: = why is the audience seeing your back so many times = is your costume blending with the costume of you partner = is the headset (microphone) needed, when you're performing this illusion Go for it and it will become much better and better !! |

Hey Jordan,
You asked for guidance on the illusion too; I'am meaning the prop. Looking again at your you tube film, I want to give you the following advice. The total look at the design gives a somewhat heavy (thick) feeling. I think that the pyramid should look (visually) separated from the table where it stands on. I would advice you to study the Wakeling separation. This way the optics of the illusion can work more delicate. Have a good journey to a better act. P.S. Please buy finer shoes (slim line) for your partner ! |
