Ok I have a question. Is this going to be the "Knightfall" story arc? I don't freequent too many of those movie sites.

It looks like it may have a few similarities, outside of just the use of Bane. Also might draw a bit from Dark Knight Returns with Batman being gone for a while.

Yea some of the lines used in the trailer made me think of it.
I had to be one of the few who actually liked that story. Tough to follow and had to read Catwoman to get it all but it was a cool story to me anyhow. It touched a lot of titles.

Well, it's hard to imagine Nolan screwing up Bane, relative to Bane's last appearance on the silver screen. Let's hope, if he's borrowing from it, that he does just as well with the Knightfall story line.

I have to say the guy in the crappy Batman movie really looked like the comics Bane. He just wasn't Bane. Tom Hardy is a really good actor though. He was great in Warrior and Bronson. If you've seen Bronson then you know what a scary Bane Tom Hardy could be.

JT, that'll probably lead to spoilers.
As for Shumacher, as he quoted the studio, they kept telling him to make things more "toyetic." I respect him for taking full responsibility, though it's not all his fault. Watching Batman and Robin with his commentary is pretty funny. It's basically an hour and 15 min apology. Only 1 hour 15 min, because he actually walks out on his own movie. Basically says he can't say anything more, how many times can you say your sorry, lol.
