I'm looking for creative and interesting ways to produce my rabbit. I've read the tarbell techniques, And I've experimented with others. I'm not a big fan of large bulky boxes and props that seem to be hiding something.
I am looking for a good routine that makes the rabbit a suprise production as opposed to "Hey rocky... watch me pull a rabbit outta my hat..!"

I use the Doves to Rabbit Box to make "Deuce" my rabbit appear. Sometimes he will even lift the lid on cue. It is not a big box at all.

The best book on the topic is "The Bunny Book for Magicians" by Francis Marshall
Eric Sharp has some intersting ideas in his books and videos (PAL format) on this topic. Recently Dan Sylvester (Sylvester the Jester) has developed a Jacketless Topit (DVD- Suspended Dimensions) which has some potential for instant small rabbit.
