Can someone reccomend the best place to buy a good magic table. The roller kind, they are usually black and carpeted. There are many models. I would like to know what the professionals are using.

I second Joe Lefler's version...the larger suitcase table. I have one and it suits me fine.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about? Smile

My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums.

Joe has been in the business for a long time, so he knows what pros want and use. His products are top-notch all the way.

Ok so more silly questions.. sorry newbie here.. I have the Lefler large suitcase table.. so when you guys travel with this thing do you leave your tricks and gimmicks loose in this or do you use something else to transport them.. I have a bunch of things like vanishing silks and dove boxes, some things made of glass and cardboard. I am just worried about the paint chipping and stuff.

One of the great advantages to that type of table is that you can leave your props in it for transport. You can protect them further by making a dividing grid of thin boards to seperate your items, or by using different size cardboard, wood or plastic boxes and tubes within the drawers. Even inexpensive magic props are relatively expensive. Good props can cost a small fortune. Protect your investment.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The large suitcase seems functional. I have seen several videos of performers with hard metal looking cases that they plop of close up mat on. Does anyone have an idea of where to obtain one of those?

Thanks.

I also have a large Lefler table. One of the best magic investments Ive made. Mine came with extra material and I used it to cover the shelves inside as well as the bottom.

If you are talking about the the aluminum cases with the diamond pattern covering on the panels, they are usually available at Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/18-inch-x-1......196.html or http://www.harborfreight.com/17-3-4-quarter-inch-x-12-3-4-quarter-inch-x-5-3-4-quarter-inch-aluminum-case-35777.html. Other cases can ve custom ordered from places like Anvil Cases or Excalibur or anyplace that makes professional roadie cases. You can also build your own with components from DIY Road Cases http://diyroadcasesstore.com/
