The McBride DVD's are fantastic! Also definitely study Cardini. Additionally if you want to get into more advance manipulations, I would also recommend:
The Evolution of Card Manipulation by Lee Ang Hsuan http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=47746 Stage Card Manipulation by Eduardo Galeano http://www.murphysmagic.com/Product.aspx?id=48431 Good Luck, -Leo |

I think I've mentioned the "Cardini Production" from _More Inner Secrets of Card Magic_ a few times as a beautiful and seldom seen move. I remember Johnny Hart used it in his act. I think there's a brief clip of Cardini doing it on one of the DVDs available from The Miracle Factory. You can see Johnny Hart doing it in this video clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzXUBA3dWZ4 at about 0:51 into the act.
There are also some interesting card manipulation moves in Volume 2 of the Tarbell Course. ----- Amado "Sonny" Narvaez

There is only 2 methods for the roll out that I am aware of in the publications and DVDs on the market. You speak like you already do roll outs, so there is no need for you go any further. Now is the time to start demonstrating your learned skill. |

I think Jeff McBride does those, and yes, I'm almost ready to start performing roll outs, I carry poker chips I my pocket everywhere just to get a little extra practice. Sorry if this is the wrong thread for this, I just didn't want to start a new thread. |

If you are speaking of the Roll Out Jeff McBride does with several coins, displaying them between both hands. He is currently providing this video when you purchase his new Palming Coins. This is considered a Production even though the coins are rolled out. This material, if I remember correctly is only explained with Jumbo Coins on his manipulation DVDs. Here is his latest Palming Coins that come with the instructions you are looking for: http://www.yourmagic.com/catalog/product......s_id=227 This kind of production is relatively new in magic, thus not much information is known about it. I don't believe there are any variations on this type of production. |

That is what Jeff McBride was doing with the coins thrown up and they all suspend for a second in the air, separated in a stack. This same move can be done horizontally. Looks really cool. Another magician years ago use to do this in his act. |
