I was thinking about using a squeaker in my show. I ran into "Squeak Technique DVD & Squeakers by Jeff McBride". I was shocked to see Jeff working with a squeaker from all the skills he has enhanced. I want to know is the $40 DVD worth purchasing.

Like you, I was a little surprised to see Jeff doing a routine like this. With his caliber of talent, this deviation from his character seemed out of place. But I will say that it is a very creative extension of his capabilities. What you get is hybrid mixture of Benson Bowl like routine combined with some Wayne Dobson like ventriloquism by-play. It's no doubt entertaining, and Jeff does a very thorough job explaining all the details. A creative mind would find ways to adapt the squeaker to any of a number of their existing routines. As to the price, $40 isn't unreasonable. For someone with modest experience, you may not even need this dvd as you may already know most of the seperate ideas contained within. As with any product like this, the value is in what you're able to take from the instructor and adapt for your own use. Some will disagree, but in my opinion the price matched the value.

I just ordered a copy based on the WPR.
I've never owned 'unrated' magic material before.
