I just got a new version of Tenyo's Thimbles and it is like no other Tenyo trick I have, no gimmick.
I am not opposed to learning some sleights but the routine looks pretty complicated. How hard is Tenyo's Thimbles to perform? Is there English instructions for the trick? Mine came with Japanese instructions and and Japanese videos. Also the thimbles are small on my fat fingers, are their other thimbles that are made by other companies that are a bit wider? |

I don't perform it, too much practice needed I don't have English instructions but the pictures in the manual kind of speak for themselves I think ... .

As Killertweety pointed out to do Thimbles well requires some serious practise. If you are interested you can find thimbles from dealers other than the Tenyo ones. Joe Mogar who specializes in color changing knifes sells a line of thimbles and also has a comprehensive book on thimble manipulation.

I guess if I am going to invest some time on Thimble magic I will need Thimbles larger than Tenyo's.

$4.99 a piece? That's crazy priced! Joe Mogar has great thimbles. Get them from him.

Two guys recently bid T-1 Thimbles up to $247.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TENYO-Magic-THIM......6wt_1167 Am I going to have to pay that much to fill that number or was that an anomaly? Same question on Space Walking coins that went for $396 with only one bidder? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie......0wt_1231 AA |

Good word anomaly & fully applies too, considering it is still available in the Japanese marketplace. Space Walking Coins is usually high in price, but not that high.

I have a chance to buy an original T-1 Thimbles which is supposedly Mint.
The seller told me to make an offer. What should I offer? Thanks AA |

If anyone is looking for a Stellar Mint example of T-1 Thimbles for their collection then please contact me.
It is not mine, I am just helping out an old magician friend who has it. I bought one of these from him and it is truly mint. It is not cheap but it looks like it just came from the factory. AA |

Timbles for 247 USD smells fishy to me because it is still available in Japan from Hitomi. Ok, you don't get the English old box and the English manual but apart from that?
Space Walking Coins in excellent condition for almost 400 USD seems pretty 'normal' ... but thesedays 'normal' is getting a bit 'stretched' ... . |
