Hey guys, I noticed a post earlier on about illusions that could be displayed in your room, but most of the links are outdated so if anyone could contribute some of their favourite on-display illusions, that would be fantastic. I've heard rumours about a bookcase that can make it look like the books are floating, does anyone else know about that?

Hugh,
Not sure about a bookcase, but try these sites for an individual shelf that "floats" a stack of books. leonard http://www.barnesandnoble.com/p/home-gif......3910&r=1 http://www.holdnstorage.com/itemdetail.a......od7iBl3Q |

Ok thanks, anyone else got some good ideas (doesnt have to be a bookcase, just an example)

That was too cool! I've only seen something like that on James Bond movies! Thanks for posting.

Along time ago I had a illusion that looked like a faucet that hung in mid air and poured beer into a mug. Can't seem to find it anywhere anymore. This one was made of plastic and I think at the time it ran about 60 dollars or so.

Here's one for less than $50:

The table is awesome! Wonder how long it takes to make one of those?

A rather old thread to resurrect, but I would add Jamie Grant's "Nothing is Impossible" deck of cards inside a bottle.

I think you're looking for "magicana". All depends on your budget and taste. Some I have: Crystal Silk Cylinder (customized cover), A ghost Cabinet, Production Boxes; several types, Lotta Bowl, mini close-up table, a few standard posters, card presses, impossible bottle, useless box, gag hammer and gavel, hollowed books, a remote-controls set of candles, production/vanish candles, Invisible shelf for quality Magic Books, Doors Illusion etc.
It's not their senses that mislead, it's their assumptions.
