Every so often we have those 'fortunate finds' as restraint enthusiasts.
I had one recently. At an antique mall near my office, I spotted a set of Harvard Leg Irons that were 'on sale' by the dealer as the key was 'stuck' in one of the locks. I noted that the key was a cheap cabinet-lock key and not the original cuff key. I made my purchase and took the artifact home. Briefly consulting my ragged copy of the "Handcuff Note Book" on the internal configuration of the Harvard, I used Pastor Clyde's 'flat handcuff key' to pick the double-lock on the 'jammed' Iron, which allowed the cabinet lock key, which had gone overbank, to be withdrawn easily. The irons are remarkably clean and in good working order. :)
