Hi all
Looking for a source of the "little bit smaller than normal" marbles used in the T-127 Telesphere. My just came with three - I need five. Either two more to match or a total of five the same. Thanks |

Try looking for a complete new set - chances are low the two replacements would match the others in texture, colour, weight etc...

Aah Capt. Hook, I feel for you man. Nothing worse than a trick being unusable on account of a broken or missing 5 cent piece of equipment. It is especially lame since it was your 1st collectible if memory serves me right. Either follow Nicolino's sound advice or just get 5 new matching pieces of some sort. Identical is imperative here. The problem taking this route, is now you do not have genuine Tenyo parts. The only other solution that I am able to see is to return your purchase depending on the deal you made & re-use the money towards another complete Telesphere. Not to make light of your situation, but try to see it all as a learning experience. Remember, we've all lost our marbles at one time or another in life.

Well, I won't return it as it was given to me. And, we may be able to find the two missing marbles at his place. We will certainly look. But it is a pretty neat piece of kit. |

I think it's more easy to find 5 new little ball, I think it's possible to find something wich is same looking. In lot of toy there is this type of plastic balls. If maybe I find it I will tel you and send it to you.

I think we should start a thread for Tenyo pieces.
So members can get rid of misc pieces and members can complete incomplete tricks. For instance I have some extra Krazy Keys that someone might need. You know stuff like that. What do you guys thinK? |

Wouldn't ones be available at a craft store that might work?

Try ACMoore (if they are in your area) or do a search online for crafts marble.
What colors do you need? I will do a search for you. |

Well - I live in a small city and I think I have been almost everywhere.
My last hope is Walmart for maybe a Chinese Checkers game that has marbles Amy be the right size??? Smaller than a regular marble. Been to the bead shops, Michael s (we do not have AC Moore.) I'll keep looking. No worries. Been 65 years of my life without them so far - no need to start panicking yet. Shalom all. |

Hey Capt.Hook. Just wanted to add that weight is an issue also. Too heavy could wreck the gimmick. Good luck in your search.

Hey.
I bought a bag a various sized, same coloured, beautiful marbles at ValueVillage for 99 cents and found five that were a perfect size and weight. So, now I have to practice the illusion. Thanks all. |

Hi Capt.Hook. It's good to see you back here with rewarding news. I must say that I've been chuckling about pestering you with specific weight & colour tips. I see it all now in a different light. It just dawned on me yesterday. In reality, why couldn't you use different colours? It could bring a whole new aspect to the routine. For sure the basic routine would have to be modified so that the changes make sense, but why not? Through experimentation, you would discover what works best...1,2,3,4 or 5 colours. Who knows without trying? Maybe the original is best & colour changing is overkill. Any interest in this concept?

Value Village is a used (mostly) and sometime a few new items. Mostly cloths, a wall of toys, books, dishes. Like Salvation Army Thrift stores. Wonderful places full of $1.99 silks and props and costumes and anything else the imagination can think of.
Wonderful! |
