I have an amazing schoolcraft set which I love because the coins are very unique. Problem always was that no matter how much you tell people what each coin is, when you ask where the african dime or centavo are or even just ask where are the foreign coins, you get a lot of "which ones were those again" responses. So in that respect, the colors make it easier because even drunk people recognize colors. As for allcoins having holes, that's true, but that allows for one nice transpo that normal CSBsets don't allow for. As for the "proppy" feel, I think you face that anytime you show people three coins they have never seen before. That said, I understand everyone's points on these issues. Personally, I think it is a great variation.

I use the classic C/S/B routine which is a combo of Doc Eason, JC Wagner, Bob Sheets and Dan Tong.
I upgraded to the Schoolcraft set years ago. It's the Porsche of sets ( Sterling, Johnson, etc. ). With a solid routine, it actually shouldn't matter what coins are used. |
