"A strange thing has been happening lately. On political, commercial and social issues where people on the Internet are broadly united, the Internet is forcing opponents to back down.

Has the Internet become invincible?

Hardly.

But as a force in the world, the Internet seems to be getting more powerful, thanks to the growing popularity and use of social networks.
Fifteen years ago, everybody used to say that the Internet was a powerful medium that could mount unstoppable opposition to big governments and corporations.

It wasn't really true back then. But it seems to have become more true recently."

"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

He who has the power of the Internet behind him already is leaps beyond.
It's amazing, people will criticize you for "biting the hand that feeds you," while they're busy praising the hand that beats them.

I foresee greater things.

I will not disclose what it is lest I be seen as a prophet.

The internet cuts both ways. We learn more about Government they learn more about us. But I remember when government and people were one. I'd love to see that again. I'd love to have an elected official I was truly proud of and trusted again.

Good magic to all,
