One of my friend said this is a must have. My order is in! Hope it's as good as I've been told. I am sure I'll have a lot of fun with it.

I've yet to hear of someone not loving this. The easiest way to strip IT and a joy not to have to store it wrapped on playing cards.

Yeah, I'm somewhat surprised that I haven't been able to find a single negative review for this ... and believe me I've looked. Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to comment on their purchase. : )

I have my new studio in order and have begun filming a DVD. Very excited about this ... it is one thing to give a man tool, it is another thing to teach him how to use it. New moves ... new hook-ups ... amazing stuff ... be excited!

JoeJoe, most anything can get a negative review. But you were so candid in announcing this, it left no one scratching their head and taking a leap of faith. We new what it was. Then you teamed with Steve Fearson and created a low cost, incredible package. For me, I got it, watched the demo and immediately stripped my own IT like I've never be able to do before.

The Webspinner over performed as to what what advertised. There's a novel idea.

It's been a big hit and STILL only $20:

I like it so much that I ordered a second one, but the first one shows no sign of wearing out (and I was one of the first to purchase, when it was first released). Good product. Well made. Lives up to it's reputation.

Since you already own one, can't you just make something similar?

No, not really. I like this, and the price is right. In fact, I feel like you get more than you pay for. Then again, there will likely be varying opinions depending on the style of the user. For me, this was a great purchase.

I appreciate that you purchased a second one, and agree the price is very fair for what you get. Steve and I went back and forth on the price - he wanted a more high end product, but I insisted we keep the price low so people could afford them. As a result, I don't really make much per sale ... not complaining, just saying.

The DVD will provide insight into just how much R&D I have into these things ... I've been using them for years, and there are a lot of things you can do with a Spinner that people don't know about yet. Smile

Pro Tip: so you are used to stripping thread with it hanging on your wall, and it is awkward to be doing so waist level with a Web Spinner? No problem ... see the extra wax on the bottom of the Spinner? Use it to stick the Spinner itself to the wall!

Now it is hanging there just as if you had taped it ... only, you can just as easily take it down, put it in your pocket, and carry it with you without worrying about it getting snagged or tangled.

Smile

I do not understand what you're saying but I just stuck my web spinner to the wall by my keys. Now I won't lose it again thanks.

How will this help in performing Fred Kaps Floating Cork? That is the only thread item I perform. Will this help in the preparation and execution of the effect?

First, it will make stripping the thread easier and faster ... so easy you can even do it in the dark blindfolded.

Second, it will allow you to carry your thread with you in your pocket (as opposed to hanging on your wall at home).

I'm going to go ahead and post these videos, they are already in the 'secret sessions', but I don't see the harm of bringing them here. They will answer all your questions and let you see just how powerful the Web Spinner is.

In this video, I explain what my Thread Tube is and how it works ... the main difference in the Thread Tube and the Web Spinner is the Steve Fearson mod that does away with the putty and makes changing the thread as easy as tying your shoes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTCATWYI0Ok

And in this video I demonstrate how to strip thread blindfolded, it's not hard; in fact once you get the knack it is a lot easier than stripping thread by sight. I always strip by feel, never by sight. It saves a lot of time.

As for Fred's floating cork, I don't know the exact hookup ... but I do know Steve Fearson does the trick with his 'birthday suit' hookup.

http://www.emagicsupply.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=10

This hookup is available as a $5 ebook as an add-on for the Web Spinner:

1st run has been sold ... going to start making a 2nd run. Thanks to everyone who has made this a huge success for me! Smile

Just bought one & took a week, but finally got my shipping notice, guess I got lucky with the tail end of the 1st batch. Combined it with the deal for Fearson's Master levitation system & your Web Spinner. Looking forward to using it !

Have to say it is one of the few products that I've seen lately with nothing but awesome reviews, that in itself sells me !!

I've been leaning more & more to a static IT setup, I have & used the 1st spider pen- so-so, tarantula- same, not impressed with the newer spider pen that I need to make corrections to make work as a new purchase....... Fearson's static hook ups & your web spinner just seem to make a lot of IT work easier/simpler...of course an IT real does still have it's place & I still use my 1st gen spider pen & Tarantula every once in awhile, just feel that they have tried to get reels more fancier in this electronic age than need be,...IMO

My theory on that ... most magic tricks are created in a lab with the intention of selling to other magicians on the internet. They usually go from prototype to final product in 30-90 days. This is business necessity for many shops.

The Web Spinner however was created so I could make money at the gig ... in the field ... on the pitch. I've got 15 years R&D into it, and when I first created it I never had any intention of showing another magician, yet alone giving it to them. I bent over backwards cutting the time it took to make one so they could be produced quickly and delivered at an affordable price.

It feels really good to read the reviews and hear all the great comments posted on the Web Spinner. It has exceeded my expectations. I hope other magicians out there take notice, you don't have to follow the traditional marketing approaches in this business. I have always disagreed with the notion that selling a magic trick means you are selling a "secret" ... you should be selling a total package; something people would want even if they knew the secret.

We know the Web Spinner is really brilliant but I thought I´d give you a tip to aid in stripping the thread. I have been using a jewellers eye glass. Makes things really easy.
