I'm excited about Real Secrets' startup and the goodies that are coming our way, but on a higher level, think about what this could become if it lasts 10 years, 20 years. If it has legs, like Magic or Genii magazine, think about the value of the very first issues, the first year, complete, a decade down the line. It will be a sellers' market to colletors. As a deductable business investment this will, most likely, be really good. A lot better return on your money than any bank in the nation, that's for sure.

Um. Has someone actually received an email stating that they were rejected?

Paypal will not shut Real Secrets down. What is it with people just writing total nonsense. Any seller can refund a buyers money at any time, Paypal does not care about reasons, believe me.
Please, site some cases where Paypal shut down a venture because people received refunds. Show me the evidence. BTW, "Like someone said before." does not count. I'll wait over here. James Quote: On 2012-03-28 21:51, spartacus wrote:

Judging from the response, no one who successfully paid was rejected. Didn't think so.

It just makes me wonder. After all, it should be very simple to send out all 500 notices at once, instead of dragging it out over time. It should all be automatic, with the possible exception of assigning membership numbers. To those of you who have had confirmation- have you actually been given a membership number? And you have to understand, I, and at least several others here, are looking forward to this very much. Right now it's all ANTICIPATION- it's keepin' me waitin'. Yeah, I'm a big kid- just ask my wife. She can fill you in real good! We either talk about stuff like this, or keep quiet for a week. |

Our first "Real Secret" ships Monday!
Time goes by so fast. We'll all be measured for a box in no time. Time is like a runaway train. Might as well enjoy the ride and not worry about minor things. I'm glad I'm on board the "Real Secrets" train!! |

Their reason for this is that each of us went into our Paypal accounts and canceled the recurring payment. Mr. Kaufman has since re-applied for a subscription, maintained the recurring payment, and not been rejected. I do not know what Mr. Stone did. The promise of a year of Platinum Membership for a one time annual fee was nullified. Assuming you do not do as we did, I do not believe your "membership" will be rejected. Make of it as you will. Those of you who have toed the line will be receiving your first surprise package in a few days. Meanwhile I sit here in lonely anticipation of the arrival of the next issue of M-U-M. Enjoy. I am sure it will be fun.

So, are we saying being "accepted" is only a matter of paying the money and "toeing the line"? No qualifications? Even the Masked Magician may be a "member"?

And, Bill, believe me, I feel for you. A suggestion- Re-apply; don't fight the recurring payment. After 3 or 4 issues you'll know if you like it. At that point, either keep it going, or cancel your recurring payment. At that point, I believe that after you cancel the payment they will immediately stop your subscription and refund your remaining money. Be a part of it , Bill- you might regret it, but you really won't know until you try it!
And I'm still unconfirmed at this point- I paid for a year 5 weeks ago. |
