Hi Guys

If you were going to perform the snowstorm at the end of an act and to do it to music and you wanted it to appear very magical and mysterious what sort of music would you use?

(I'm talking the Kevin James Animator - but not the one with the present type box)

I don't own one but I'm curious to find out what type of music people on here would choose.

Thanks,
TM

Your question really hinges on what emotional mood you want to bring out in the audience.

Disney's "Wish upon a Star" touches the masses, brings the childhood memories out, has a nostagelia effect on an audience. Building this up with the right patter can have a very strong emotional response.

The answer you seek is individual on how you want your audience to feel.

Try this ull love it....Its the ending song of the movie CASPER. Its a love song but also matches exactly to the mood you would want. But its not for a comical style. Try it. Im sure ud love the song. I think its called MAKE A WISH COME TRUE. It also adds meaning to the effect you are doing. Bye.

Ok... this is just my opinion on this trick... What kind of audience reaction do you really get from this???...ive seen it done many times and people could care less about this trick. I think its a waste of money ($400+)thats just my opinion tho!

Oh I would have to disagree with you. I have seen it done many times and it always pulls the emotion strings out of the audience.

If it is done right it is truely real magic.

I must agree with Ken. In the right hands and presentation, it is a killer.

Personally I do not think the snow machines are ususually worth the effort in most situations. Yes it adds a great deal of effect when done properly but it is a lot of expense and rigging for what you get.
