So, anyone else watching it?
I've only ever caught one season, when I was still living with my parents, as they were watching it, but I figure I'll watch this one for as long as he lasts. Wonder if his charity will be the JREF? On the note of Penn on video, he was also on The Cleveland Show, and started a new podcast, last night.

I watched.
I don't watch often but it is addictive. Mosly poeple I've never heard this year of but Penn Jillette, George Takei and several others I have liked made me tune in. I'm not proud of watching but I'm a huge Star Trek fan so I'm in till George is gone. That mightn't be long. Like Cheryl Tiegs, I think he's to nice for the game. I doubt Lou Farigno will last long either. No shame in losing this game though. -Mary Mowder |

I thought it was a pretty stacked cast this round when I saw it announced. Haven't caught it yet though.

I want to watch it for George, but I don't go out of my way for "reality television." I was always kinda sorry I didn't get a chance to finish "Celebracadabra" but that's about it.

I wish he wasn't on the show. It seems like mostly a haven for semi-washed up C and D list celebrities who have to take every chance they get to get publicity for themselves. I think of Penn as better than this. I suppose they also get paid to be on the show. Yes, they get a chance to raise money for their charity, but is that really their main motive? And can't they raise money for the charity in other ways?

I stopped watching after Annie Duke lost at the end of whatever season she was on.

You mean like playing on Celebrity Jeopardy!? Or maybe a celebrity car wash. I don't think Penn is "too good" to be on the show. And I think he will probably do well. I watched the first episode and plan on watching the rest of it. |

I find it kind of funny people saying they wish he wasn't on it.
It is his choice you know. That said, I understand your criticisms.

Dancing with the Stars is one thing, Donald Trump quite another. Why give that lunatic any more credibility?

Well, as Penn said to Tommy Smothers, in response to his criticism of his appearance(s) on Glenn Beck, if Hitler had a talk show, yes, he would go on it, and he would tell the truth.

Lol @ Penn giving Trump credibility. Penn Jillette is not the mega star a lot of people around here seem to think he is. And not on there for any other reason than he thinks it's going to help him get more exposure, and make more money. He probably wouldn't be on there at all except for the fact that in the last few years the ratings have slipped making way for even more obscure celebrities to get on the show.

Penn was Project Manager on the most recent episode and nobody is weighing in? I guess I'll start. Penn kicked ass.

Discuss. The task was tailor made for the mens team and Penn in particular, I expected them to win handily and they did. No real surprises. It woked out well for Penn; he got his turn at being Project Manager out of the way and shouldn't have much trouble advancing deep into the competition. |

That does seem to be the case...much like the next task seems to be a good fit for the women. I do think that the women could've done a better job, though. I think Trump Jr. was wrong in saying that it wasn't the concept that lost them the task because of the positive comments - the whole task was to win audience votes. They liked the men's show more, period. Sure, they were in New Jersey and parodied the Real Housewives of New Jersey, or whatever the show is, but that really only has appeal to the housewives in the audience. Not the husbands, not the children...still, it was fun to watch them both.

Penn has stated that he went on the show to sell tickets for his Vegas show. Get your name out there and sell tickets. It's business.
