Anyone own the new silk frame by SEO? Wondering how the quality is and if it works smoothly everytime.

Do you mean their Flash Silk Stand? http://www.seomagic-usa.com/catalog/prod......s_id/574
If so, I have it and I really do like it. It offers a different (not to be interpreted as better, just different) way of making up to three silks appear. I have used the stand to make silks appear that lead into another routine...... three silks to be used with Color Changing Wreaths or Pavel's Silk Knotting routine (which uses a newspaper). I sometimes used color confetti (which matches the silk that appears) to throw at the stand and then make the silk appears. As for the quality: it is made of plastic. It is not flimsy plastic but is plastic, nevertheless, and a backup to any prop is always a good idea. Does it work smoothly every time? It has for me but it does require a little (not a lot of) practice to get the knack of it. The recommendation is to use 12-inch silks. I have used 18-inch silks with no problem. And I have used diamond-cut silks with it to give the illusion of a bigger silk. I really do like this "new" addition to aiding in the production of silks. Of course, there are other ways to go about it but, like I said at the beginning, it offers a different way.

Thanks Jimmy. It sounds like it is just what I am looking for. I only want to make one 18" picture silk appear in my new reading show.

I like that prop, it would even be perfect with an assistant for an instant traveling silk, such as using the Flash Silk Vanishing wand, and it appears in the holder. The repeat does make the prop more puzzling, especially when both sides of the prop is shown.
Too bad they are out of stock at SEO Magic. |

A trick like this could have many applications.
It could be used with the Color Changing Fan, have a silk appear, and the fan changes to the same color as the silk produced. Better and more magical then just pulling a silk out of your pocket. |

They are currently out of stock. I'm hoping to get one soon.
