Apart from Dr Spektor's competitions and Ray's recent book for Baba, this sub forum is dead.
Where are the ideas?
Where are the in depth discussions.,
Advertising, marketing, promotion do not count.
Spooky is dying, and no amount of séance will contact it
's proud past the way things are going....

Steve:

I've been preoccupied with alien invasions and ghost hunting. I'll try to get back on track.
I did post a topic a few days ago about bizarre finds,, but there was not much interest in it.
But it did get me to watch a movie I had forgotten about. Smile

Btw, Tony is the guest this month, there are a lot of interesting posts there.

I have not found it and am still looking.
Frank recommended the Clairvoyant so I watched that this past week.

Tony this is not the only place where ideas go to die.

I don't really see the advantage of posting something, only to have the concept dismantled by people I do not even know.

I have continued to work on material for the Carcosa project, and a hand full of other outlets. The days of Larry and Gene are gone my friend. So very sad but true.

Compeers counted on less than two hands keep me alive and the fire burning.

Is that all there is? SEnd in the clowns.

To be clear, this is as much a message to myself, as to anyone.
I am going to offer some work later this week, probably down in the old Crypt.
Anyone who wishes to re-invent this place then please do pop along.

Kotah, M. Chelman and Tony, I think I've read everything you've written (can't wait for the full Hell House account Tony - I enjoyed the blog). Please don't stop!
With much love
Steve

Same.
My post on "Lost Treasures" didn't even produce a single response, even though over 600 people read it.
C'est la vie
Cheers

I create because ideas come to me and have to get out my head.
Others reading, using, and or enjoying my work is a bonus.

If I limit what I do based on the reactions of people on forums,
I'll never get anything done and be frustrated.

Here is how I see part of the problem gents!
A few are good at posting,to carry on a thread!
Then, there are those that just post with It's all about me post!
If more in the family of 'Spooky' would take time to be a team player, this place would really ROCK!
Others, just pop in to sell their wares too!
I like the post of performers I respect, and are willing to share!
Others, just come here to brag, get money, and have no care for the other posters!
Not pointing fingers, those who do just that, know who they are!
Others, know too!
I like to come here,to learn and have a good time too!
It would be so nice for more comments on'Spooky',and before anyone gets on defense, this is just my opinion!
Let's all try to make contibutions, instead of mine is bigger and better comments!
Of course,it is not the guys on this thread! Smile

Bill, funnily enough I was thinking of you this morning, trying to recall the tale about the finger ring you presented me with in SF last May; something about Thai brides and virgins?! (sorry to stray off topic)

The friendly people from Paypal thank the Spooky-users for their generous contributions to magic.
After all, what good are ideas if you can't buy them!
And to have in depth discussions, you need in depth knowledge.

Yep, Zed's dead!
