Here is my healed and sealed patter.
Sometimes we feel crushed and down, discarded like... an old tin can. Just like this one. But with the love of Christ (I now make a magic face) we expand and then we are full of liquid. That liquid is the love of our Lord and I pour the love into this glass. |

That's a cool patter LowPhat. I hope you don't mind me using it. By the way, I've been trying to find people who are into gospel magic in my area, and I can't seem to find one yet. But this forum Rocks!

Lowphat,
Great routine. I also would like to adapt it to my work. Scott |

Very cool routine.
I especially like that this is an effect that will play well to teens. Kids stuff is hard enought to put together, but fashioning effects for teens (unless they are big and glitsy) is rougher. This will play well, I think. I like the added touch about the "Real Thing" too! Thanks, guys. -Dave |

I am thrilled to see this post. Next week is Easter and I have wanted to use this effect as an illustration for years. I had already made up my mind to do it this year so coming across this was a real blessing for me. You have giving me some good ideas as far as the presentation and patter.
I too agree that all of your effects do not require biblical patter. We recently did a show where a few of our effects had no gospel patter to them at all. We performed them as pure entertainment knowing that we would get our full message across with our other presentations. We had a great show and got our message across in a powerful and entertaining way. Allan |

And Jesus made some of His illustrations drawing in the dirt with a stick...and in one miracle, he chose to spit on the dirt and use it to God's Glory.
God is God, and he can use whatever tools He wishes to use... Whether it be a magic trick with a can of Cola, or a Donkey who talks.... Too many people have a tendency to question the existence of God, because He doesn't do things in the way that they think things should be done. And for them, it is absolutely classical J.B. Phillips. Their god is too small. My God is a lot bigger than that! He is greater than my ability to second guess or judge Him. BroDavid
