We added a couple of new shots that show the jewel box performing. Nice action on the lid, super power inside.

Just to clarify, the only two items that come with the jewel box are the bottle with the piece of burnt wood and the ring box.
BTW, where did that little burnt piece of wood come from that Lillian felt was so important to keep? Or was it William that put the bottle in the jewel box? Jewel box test Vid |

My LJB is suppose to ship sometime this week.
Rick,is waiting for her return trip from Hell, before he can send. You remove L's ring from the ring box,and have a sitter hold in her hand. Holding a belonging of L,will bring you closer to her spirit. She, who is holding ring, may feel the ring get hotter,or colder in hand. The sitter's ring is placed in LJB. It is only fair, that the sitter share's something with L. What will happen during this time,is yet to be seen...

Steve I don't know if anyone ever answered the design on the top of the box is an antique flower (i think a Rose)
I can't stress enough how cool this is, it's small and able to leap tall building(well not really, but don't let the small size under play it's impact, it hits hard)

My LJB arrived today!
The spirit possessing this piece is very powerful. The "bang" from the ring box jumping with the lid down is much louder than one would expect from watching the video...wonderfully, terrifyingly louder. If you do this in a quiet room, after the lights are dimmed, and anticipation in the hopes of the slightest sign of spirit contact is generated, you better be sure your sitters are wearing their brown pants, to minimize revelation of any embarrassing telltale signs of panic once the lights come back up! As previously mentioned by others, there seems to be nowhere the spirit's source could be hiding in this artefact. Bonus...the spirit entity is powerful enough to ring the HB or SM bells (if you happen to own either of those pieces as well), albeit the ringing is softer/feinter than on the HB or SM. The HB bell base and arm fit in either the bottom drawer or top of LJB. The SM bell arm pieces fit in either the bottom drawer or top of LJB; the SM bell base fits in the top of the LJB. Alas...neither the HB or SM bell itself fit in the LJB (then again, they weren't intended to be...the ringing of the bell is just a fortuitous result of the spirit's unexpected power). But, perhaps the Outlaw elves will be possessed to apport a supply of smaller spirit-communication-capable bells in the near future, that can fit inside the LJB??? *cough*Roth*cough* |

I was thinking it might work better because the clapper is closer to the surface.

Hey Maps, I think you usually have to wait a little longer than that for a gold gun item he should reply eventually. you could also try sending him a PM here on the Café.

Thread resurrection! I recently received my Lillian's Jewelry Box. This box is tiny, looks old, and slightly dirty... like it was sitting in an old abandoned house and was slightly exposed to the elements (which is what I want). It's small size makes it's power seem even more bizarre! Just like in the demo video, it can easily (and silently) throw special objects right out of the top. Very cool, and versatile for a wide range of story telling opportunities. Powering the box 'on' is even easier than I thought it would be, which is great for impromptu performances.
The performance is what really makes it all worth while.

Still my favorite go-to device in the Outlaw family...kicks ghostly butt.
I do wish Outlaw would find a way to put their touches on a traditional music box...like the kind that had the dancing ballerina... https://www.google.com/search?q=dancing+......&bih=761 I'm not sure what they would do to make this kind of box even creepier than it already is, but I'm sure they would find a way...
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

A traditional music box effect would be really cool. Maybe something that starts to play on it's own...
