Can anyone give me an idea of skill/experience level required for this? It looks pretty cool, but as a novice I don't have a great deal of prior knowledge of other switches or techniques - would that be a problem?
Thanks |

I do like the visual aspect on möbius on one hand and the "clean" finish with a classic Bill Switch using a TT on the other hand.
Is it possible -although not inventor´s concept- to combine the Möbius-move with a TT in which you can hide the remaining bill afterwards? |

To "clean up" with a tt you would need to add an extra move or two just to properly fold, and then get the bill into the tt. That is, with the traditional bill change, the actions of performing the change coincide with the actions of getting the bill into the tt. Hope that helps. Glenn

This is without a doubt, the BEST looking bill switch I have seen. I still can't believe it doesn't use a gimmick.

Think about using it in place of the first change of Garcia's Greed. That way you would be switching out the borrowed bill, and switching the gimmick in, with a visual change.

Please Blue Crown, fix your video player. You have a very lovely site with some fantastic products but it is massively LET DOWN with your slow, slow, slow player.
Oh and the T'n'R bill looks simply awesome. One of the most breathtaking and visual T'n'R I've seen in years. Just so I'm clear, can the bill be signed, ripped, restored then handed back out?? |

This is quite breathtaking! And I don't say that lightly. How easy is it to get into? (That's the only part I didn't see in the trailer, which isn't a complaint about editing, for the record.) And the display afterward is killer. Looks so clean.

In the trailer, starting at 37 seconds, basically the only thing you aren't seeing is someone handing me the bill. Usually I do the old "turning George upside down" gag trick first, but this is not necessary. However it does "preset" the bill by folding it, but this can be accomplished by just folding the bill twice. You can also do the turn around display, showing both hands empty, before the change, right after they hand you the bill. This is how I usually perform it. So, they hand you a bill, you turn it around showing both sides, and your hands, (do the gag if you like) then fold the bill in half, and do the change.

Don't wait, buy now! I was at number 2 on Penguin's current best sellers, but just got bumped to 3 by Justin Miller. I'm confident we can get to number 1!
Seriously though, take your time practicing Cinch. Always practice.

I got the mechanics of it down now. Just more practice to get it smooth. I enjoy watching the trailer over and over to see how visually beautiful the change is. My goal is to match that.

Reviews popping up on Penguin:
"Customer Reviews (showing 1 - 3 of 3) 2 of 2 magicians found the following review helpful: Time for reviewing! Verified buyer Daniel Perez from Los Angeles on April 2nd, 2012 Why 4 stars you ask? We'll get to that in a bit. First, the positives. The borrowed bill that is changed is done VERY visually and with the change done while the bill is only folded once adds to the clarity and deception. It honestly may be the best switch yet...with practice. I plan to use this switch in my regular brunch performances at the castle and with regular practice it will be possible. I stress practice because the switch takes some muscle and mind memory to get adapted to, and you have to continually work on angles. If you purchase this awesome switch, my best advice is to continually practice in front of a mirror (so you can focus on eliminating any flashing points and getting the moves down). This is on my difficulty level 7, level 9 is multiple card manipulation, level 10 being dan and dave's flourishes. If you are dedicated and practice like above, you should have a good switch working in a week. To close up, the reason I gave this dvd a 4 was because of missing minor details. Glenn goes very will over the basic mechanics, but there is some assumed knowledge of bill switches, and therefore skips over the minor details to prevent some flashing at other points not covered, or some tips on making the set up to get the change a little bit easier. Also, he went a little bit fast, so I'm stuck having to continually rewind the video. To sum it up, if you have patience, buy the dvd, practice, and experience one of the greatest switches of all time. P.S. the bonus T & R at the end of the dvd makes the purchase you made a whooooole lot sweeter. 2 of 2 magicians found the following review helpful: This is really good stuff. Dan from Davie, FL on April 1st, 2012 This is a dynamite billswitch. It looks every bit as good in person as it does in the trailer. It's extremely visual and the handling looks perfectly fair and natural. The angles are pretty decent. Obviously you aren't going to be doing this surrounded, but once you get comfortable with the mechanics, you'll find that angles won't be much of an issue for you. As for difficulty...If you are very new to magic, you're going to have to put some effort into this to make it look like Glenn does. If you are reasonably experienced you will pick this up fairly quickly. A background in color changes with cards will be to your advantage. You won't master it in 5 minutes, but within a day or two you'll have it pretty solid. Above anything I want to stress with this review is that this is extremely practical. There are a number of bill changes on the market with now like Extreme Burn, Hundy, etc. Those are phenomenal effects but you have to carry around a substantial wad of gimmicked cash. This is totally impromptu, and you have to carry nothing. The eye candy factor between those effects and this one is basically identical. Highly highly recommend this. I will be keeping an eye out for more creations from Mr. West. 1 of 1 magicians found the following review helpful: Good switch but ... Jax from Brasil on March 23rd, 2012 So, you don't use gimmicks but you don't start clean and you don't end up clean. Despite that, it's a clever way to do the switch and he also teaches you an torn an restore bill. The change is so good, but I give 3 stars only for the fact that you don't end up clean and he didn't put any ideas about this ... despite that, it's an good trick."
