I just wanted to add a sincere thank you to everyone who has purchased the Möbius Switch. I love magic, and I love sharing it, and I hope people are getting joy out of it. Also, I love money
Seriously though, thank you.

I am looking forward to using this. Was about to but my magic buddy told me I needed some serious work, so I've changed my handling again.
I'm going to be really upset about cremating my tt, I loved the switch that was allready in use! Being a purist though, and wanting to change the bill multiple times, it's driving me towards murder. What isn't groundbreaking about a gimmickless change you can switch into as many different bills as you like? After several hours more practice and study, I feel that too many aquitments would be, as you say, superflous? Looking forward to sharing some seriously good experiences on this, and thanks again to such a friendly forum chat!

Am I crazy, or did I see this switch sometime within the last three years on a PDF? When I saw the video, I reacted like, "Hey, I remember practicing that!" Was there some kind of PDF give-away or something? I'm looking through my files and I can't find it at all.
Maybe I'm mixing it up with a bill peek for serial numbers (which has a sort of similar folding pattern), or maybe I am really crazy!

Unless someone else already put out something similar, you're crazy
Seriously though, if someone already put out a similar move with a bill, we'll have to add it to the credits.

You may have seen it quite a while back on MVD ,I believe, where I had uploaded a performance video, probably 7 years ago or more.

Ok then, thanks! It must have been similar to another bill fold I saw somewhere. At least now I can stop frantically searching my endless pile of PDFs!

Here's my work in progress so far. An unlisted youtube clip which I will remove in about 1 week (for those reading this post after, it was a £5 transformed into a £10 transformed into a £20 transformed back to the £5). Please ignore the look of deep concentration on my face. A one take recording I asked my magic buddy to film when sessioning, he agreed that there was a huge improvement since last time.. Went out to an open mic night straight after, bumped into another magician who I hadn't seen for a while, his comments were that I was flashing every time and all over the place. I was shaking during the performance but was surprised that I was flashy as I hardly flashed on the video. Still more work for me before it's public ready. Still I hope you apprieciate that I'm getting closer to the desired result.

Hey Eric. Sorry I didn't see your post earlier.
With regards to angles and flashing, try to keep in mind where your spectators eyes are, and envision a line, or plane from your hands to their eyes. Your main concerns for angles are up and down, which are, as far as angles go, IMHO, much better to work with than horizontal ones. You're more likely to perform for an audience spread wide horizontally, than for a group comprised of NBA teams and little people at the same time. I noticed you're handling the move quite a bit differently. I'm not sure if this is contributing to and flashing issues, although from the video, I don't think so. Not sure if it will make a huge difference, but I also do the switch with the fold facing the other way. That is the hand hiding the bill is holding the loose edges. This can facilitate the move as you won't have to worry about the loose edges getting in the way. Let me know if need any more help with it.

Hello Glenn. You've been doing this for over seven years and have graciously decided to share this with the magic community, it's not something someone's going to watch and be perfect at overnight(I've been practicing first thing in the morning and last thing at night, and trying not to fiddle with myself at the new monday to friday).Yes, I've been holding the loose edge with the fold the other way, but that's all slieght of hand stuff, just trying to make it look as smooth as you do. Also trying to put movement on the moment to blur the edges, some people like to pop or snap.
I did have very good experiences at my son's beavers sports day/bbq where I performed this on adults and children in various sized small groups. The kids didn't point out any dodgy going's on(they did when I got caught floating a styrofoam cup on my thumb) and laughed along with my routine, the adults said that it was really good as well (mostly performed to adults who were standing around at lulls). I've ironed out the shakes and don't have too much of a problem with the angles now. The presentation for me is claiming to be able to turn a £5 into a £50, but it turns into a £10, "Let me have another go" then it turns into the £20, "One more try" back to the £5, "I should have stuck at the £20", "You can keep that as a souveneer, not really!" and I'm clean before the £5 go back into the pocket again. Sorry for going on and on and on about it. To many years ahead. Cheers to the Mobius Switch!

I bought something yeeaaars ago and was sent a free PDF for the "HYPNOBILL" bill switch, which had the same size visibility but was a gimmicked version with only one change. I really should get off this thread now! (didn't mean to sound off on my last post, sometimes we do and don't mean to!?!?) As for the difficulty of the Mobius Switch, I'm just trying to put others off as it's too good.

I hope I didn't sound like I was knocking your performance. Glad to hear it's coming along. I'd love to see another video if you feel like sharing your progress.

Here's a vid of my first ever pro performance of Glenn West's Mobius Switch.
The biggest improvement I would use on myself would be to use a £50 and then pretend to hear someone ask for a Scottish £100, "What was that? A Scottish one hundred you say? I'll try... Oh no! I should have stuck with the fifty!". Apart from that, more slighting of hand it. http://youtu.be/8NQfyEhvkvA

Looks good.
You should post that in response to the WPR video wherein they claim it can't be done with different sized bills.

I was wrong.
The wizard product review was right. The mobius switch can only be done with same size bills. It's a 1 trick dvd that add's nothing to the bill switch. The angles are unworkable. Much better to do a 100dollar classic tt version. If anyone's wondering why people arn't talking more about the mobius switch, the reason is that there probably talking about the far, far superior bill switch that was released around the same time: Cinch (faster, easier, more practical, just darned better). Sorry about that Glenn, just being honest.

Of course it's a joke! I'm just trying to stir things up! The mobius switch is my favorite!
Come on, anyone who's interested in excellent bill switches, comment here or on the other Mobius Café thread.
