This is easy for me.... FRAUD. I do a few effects with bills and the response to Extreme Burn is wonderful but for some reason I always seem to get the best reaction to "Fraud". IHOP mentioned using Chapstick ..... Many thanks for that suggestion.

I like rolling up a borrowed bill and pulling a silk streamer out of it. Then vanishing it again.

- Noblezada's Two Dollar Window
- Sometimes instead I'll do the Million Dollar Fantasy (great daydream patter) by Dick Barry - Noblezada's 5 in 1 Transpo - Thread Bill by Francis Menotti (not sure if it is his actual handling or not, I saw him do it and figured it out for myself) - Cornered by Joshua Jay - Mismade Bill (no TT version) I carry these 6 in my wallet all the time and they take up no room since they all nest together if stacked/layered right |

Ghost Bills by Andrew Mayne.
Can be set up on the fly with borrowed bills, so impromptu. Large peices of coloured card work well too (so do lots of other things that may be lying around). The angles are pretty good as well, it can be performed surrounded if people are looking down towards the performance. Some people may comment that it's not a hard hitting walkaround peice, however I think that the visuals make up for that.

A couple of mentions of "Hypnobill"... Very nice effect but quite a pain to make a working prop, yet worth it. I had forgot about this and have the pdf download printed out somewhere. Will have to look for it and give it another whirl. Thanks for the mention...

I've always loved tricks with bills as it felt so spontaneous and innocent.
Fraud Misled Prophet Chop etc... However I perform these less and less these days as people don't carry cash as readily. I find using my own bills (without a s****h) lessens the impact. |
