I spoke to handa this morning and he loved the seance. I'm sure he'll post on here once the haunt convention is over and he's had time to settle down. But everyone that went with him loved it as well. They were telling Chris that they need to do something to make sure that everyone knows about Miss Lilly's Seance Parlor.
I attended McBride's Mystery School back when he held it at the College of Mt St Vincent in the Bronx. Those three Mystery Schools were life changing in my attitude to life and magic. Miss Lilly's had the same effect on me for seances and bizarre magick. If you don't see it, I guarantee you this will become stuff that legends are made of. Those that attended will know and changes will be evident in their performances. Those that didn't will hear stories and be eating their hearts out.

Wow.
I took air on one of the earliest happenings, and I was sitting upon a cushioned couch. Well done. True theatre. Worth the drive. The village in which MLSP is located contains other shops worth visiting, and there is a very nice dinner/seance package offered by a restaurant less than one block away. This really took a few of us back to our upbringing. It is hard to impress a bunch of jaded haunters, skeptics, and people who have seen more bad magic and haunting stuff than they've seen good stuff. My head would have been handed to me if anybody had a bad experience for a number of reasons. It was fun to watch people who totally know that this is theatre (and are not overly-religious themselves) go right into ritualistic hand motions and prayers because the stuff going on just hits them at that level. It is an interesting mix of special effects, illusion, acting, and folklore. I also liked the cookies, but maybe I am tipping too much here. Kudos to Tom, his cast, and his crew. You NEED to see this. Chris |

My first vist was awesomw. I am now considering a second vist. It is a 4 hour drive each way, so it is a major commitment for me. For those of us with this strange interest, this is a must see.
