Also, with Extreme Burn you are far from clean at the finish of the routine! As you know you just cannot hand out the EB gimmick, but you can hand out all the rest of the notes - that too is very illogical and doesn't make sense if you think about it, to hand all of the bills out EXCEPT one! However, lay people are just not looking at it or thinking about it the way we do. I like the look of this.

I'm SOLD! For two reasons, actually three...
Justin Miller is a genius. So is Paul Harris. This has BOTH guys involved! Then, I LOVE Lethal Tender, and this fits right along with it. I guess the third reason is the price. But I am coming up with ideas that may just be PERFECT for this to be a part of! Lethal Tender would be involved. Doug |

Hi Justin. Can this be accomplished with a credit card wallet meaning not a folding wallet. About the thickness of a cd case. Thanks.

I did Pat Page's "Easy Money" for 30 years. When Extreme Burn came out, I switched over. After I learn and perform Freedom Change, I may switch again.

Looks pretty darn good to me. I like Sabitu's transpo idea on page 2 of this thread.

I think this looks great. I use Extreme Burn and will continue to do so in the same setting that I've used it for the past couple of years. In a different setting, I use the $100 bill switch. I can see this routine (and handling) suiting another setting.... yes, they're all bill changes but choosing the right one at the right time is important. Just my two cents worth...
Over the years I've used a few (not all) of Justin's creations in my professional work and I'm yet to be disappointed!

Looking real good on the Demo I will more than likley buy it. Quick Question even though I love my Extreme burn & will continue to use it, how does the "making up" of the gimmick for First Hand compare to making the Gimmick for EB? as that took me a while!!

This effect is what is wrong with magic. "Hey look at me and my special wallet, just a little tap and changes the bills".
All the heat is on the WALLET. You will only realize it when you'll be performing this. For me its too obvious that the spectators will want to see the wallet. Do yourself a favor and get extreme burn. |

The change from $1 bills to $20 looks beautiful, and perfectly motivated. In the UK, you are pulling out lottery tickets or waste paper- not so good. I think I'm correct in saying this enables inter denominational switches, which could be a plus outside the US. Don't like the wallet either, though! |

Perhaps if you take the bills out of the wallet, its all (mostly) motivated...

Heck, the rubberband could also be on the wallet to begin with or inside the wallet, giving you yet another motivation for having the wallet out in the first place. Seriously folks, it's not like you have the wallet out for absolutely no other reason apart from needing it to tap/wave over the packet of bills on the spectator's hand. Money comes out of wallets, there's your motivation for having the wallet out, rubberband could be in or on the wallet, there's your motivation for keeping the wallet out. On top of this, if the handling requires you to add a little something something to the packet, the wallet provides you with plenty of cover. So seriously, how the heck is the wallet of any consequence at all apart from the change not being as visual as something like Hundy or Extreme Burn (which comes with their own drawbacks which JM's version fixes as well as JM's version allowing you to be completely clean at the end which for this type of routine, it's a major advantage that far outweighs the pro of Hundy and Extreme Burn being more visual). Honestly, the complaints thus far about the wallet really holds no water. What I'm suspecting is magicians thinking like magicians here and are just more inclined to like craftier methods that have more visual pizazz rather than thinking about the actual logistics and end goal of an effect. |
