I'm doing some more works on the basics.. So many DVDS so many reviews.. Can someone please reccommend the best DVD for Chop Cup and Cups and Balls. I am a visual learner I don't work well with books I'm afraid.

I recommend Michael Ammar's two DVDs on cups and balls.

I suggest using the search tool (searchthemagiccafe.com) as I know that this has been discussed many times in the past. That being said, I highly recommend Michael Ammar's course.

The Ammar DVDs might not help too much with the specific features open to the chop cup, but they're definitely recommended. There's an L&L DVD that's dedicated to the Chop Cup routine as well which should fill in whatever gaps are missing after Ammar.

I really like James Swain's Chop Cup routine. It is explained both in his book "21st Century Card Magic" on on his DVD's.

Insidetheeye... There is a 3 disc set from LL Publishing that’s also pretty good. It shows C&B as well as CC routines... as stated before the Ammar DVDs are a good start.

You won't get a "best" as it is very subjective. Mark James' Supercharged Classics vol 1 has a nice chop cup routine together with some other commerical tricks....one of my favourite DVD's.
Craig Petty also has an impromptu chop cup routine on a DVD called Chop, which uses a paper cup and a borrowed note which received good reviews. Happy researching! Danny |
