I ran into a magicians web site the other day that was selling a "Week long magic camp for kids" program.
I cant' seem to find it now. The price on it was $150 and included curriculum and advertising ideas.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks!

It was probably the Tommy Johns product you're thinking of.

Tommy Johns sells a product on magic camps through Tim Sonefelt's Wonder Imagery site (Information Products tab). There is a physical kit and a download kit, as well as a lecture audio and a download lecture audio.

Also, Eddy Wade sells a product on magic camps through his website. He also sells a different product on magic workshops.

I've provided links to the main magic camp product. You can navigate around the sites to find the others.

You're welcome!

When I did my search, I also discovered that there is a book titled "Magicians in the Making" by Jim Merrills. This book is also about magic camps, and is available from several magic dealers. The price is about $15-20.

The Sorcerer's Safari is a week long summer camp that the kids actually go and spend the week there 24/7 run by Magic Mike Segal. The instructors are all pro's who do workshops with the kids everyday. There are also regular camp activities like swimming in the lake etc... It really is a great camp!

I think the OP was looking at how to deliver a week long "camp" through a local library or municipal day camp type of venue. This type of "camp" is where the kids show up for a few hours each day at the venue and go through workshops and exercises.

I run a 7 week magic camp during the summer every year and have run magic "classes" at libraries as part of my summer magic show.

the 7 week camp is mostly different kids each week and I have 2 classes each day for 90 minutes

a lot of what you teach depends on age level and budget.

I am of the school that you don't teach the cut and restored string in straw. but rather teach some better quality magic as well as make sure the kids get to go home with a bunch of magic as well.

teaching kids is so rewarding as well as a way to make some extra money.

have fun
