Does anyone know good source(s) for routines/techniques for magnetic coins? I know that Mike Gallo has one routine on the NY Coin Seminar that fooled me pretty bad utilizing MCs. I liked the routine and idea that he had. Now I'm just looking for more things that can be done with MCs. Any direction would help greatly. Thank you.

Two books were published in the early 70's by Paul Diamond (Written by Frederick and Arthur Kraft):
Magneticoins (Gems of Magic Book #1 - 1971) Coin Magnetrix (Gems of Magic Book #3 - 1973) As with a lot of Paul's products, there are tons of ideas and routines packed in those little books. |

TJ, Dr. Sawa use magnetic coins in very clever ways. And don't forget split coins.

There is a dvd put out by kreis magic called
crafty power that I think is real good. seo magic sells it. they also in my opinon have the best magnetic coins. |

Discovered today that UK 10p and 5p coins made this year are now magnetic.

Just to confirm that UK 1p & 2p coins have been 'attracted' to magnets since 1992, when they became an alloy of 97% steel with a copper coating.
5p and 10p silver coins (from December 2011) are NOT magnetic - but they are now also 'attracted' to magnets due to them being minted from nickel-clad steel. Not being pedantic for the sake of it - but just wanted to clarify the difference.

Troy Hooser has some excellent uses for magnetic coins in his recent book, "Moments" put out by Josh Jay. Good stuff!

I think Kreis are releasing a sequel to their DVD dealing with magnetic coins (as well as a number of other strongly magnetic coins, from 50c euros to Uk £1s).

The super strong coins kreis has are
the strongest ones I have found. the dollar size ones will hurt you if your not careful. |
