About the bag: only a pretext to take hold of the box 1 or 2 seconds?

That is really small 63/64" square x 3 5/32 long.
If that is the box size the obelisk is like 5/8 X 2 3/4?
I suppose that is a good thing nice small pocket size MW. Smile

Sounds logical. That is an option.

Other option is that the bag has some sort of gimmick.

If the bag has been gimmicked, I'm pretty sure they would have include it in their picture.
I have in mind a couple of solutions for this... Not 100% practical, but workable...

It is a mystery how it works, still appears the bag is key for some reason.

Definitely like an Elite Diabolicus on steroids.

They must have made a pile of them or not one people finding good enough to grab them all up it is still there now. I am surprised it has not been sold out.

...but why they specify a drawstring bag....

Based on the Description.... it is really hard to figure out the Method for this one. I also cant believe they are really telling you everything as it might tip the method maybe. My guess is that it's going to be a method we already know but is just dressed up somehow. I hope is is something new and unexpected however.

IMO, to not have to say: "The magician holds the little box in his hand for a few seconds and than immediatly announces the spectator's choice"

BTW, as you probably noticed before, many of the MW's items already came in a red velvet drawstring bag...

In any case, if the bag would have been gimmicked in any way, they proudly would have included it on their pictures... My 2 pesos Smile

My hypothesis is that the Obelisk itself is conceived almost like the Diabolicus "white" piece. But no visual gimmick on the outside box. Smile

If they where trying for the look, feel, and weight of a true stone as mentioned I would have like it better to have a color that looks like a stone with maybe some variegated lines and color changes. The gold tone takes away from any look of stone. Just my opinion, no lettering and a stone color would have been better. Smile

I hope it doesn't rely on some kind of thumb tip stuff that for sure allow you to put in the description that you can show your hands "completely empty"....

If it uses a TT...then I could not agree with the Tony Curtis post saying that ".....the method to know the spectator’s selection is different and personally I think much easier."
OK probably would be easier than Diabolicus if you don´t have good light.....but I think it should not be as natural if you are not a good manipulator (my case Smile ).

I'm wondering if the bag has a m****t in the drawstring, or inside, and it cues you as to which side of the obelisk has been selected. We're only talking 4 seasons, and they do go in order.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I was referring to the light problem with the Diabolicus method.
