I'm confused - he deals down 13, but it's not the 13th card he pushes over to the spectator?
Some think Houdini used trap doors in his act, but he was just going through a stage.

Yeah, it looks like the 12th card but still impressive!! It's like KK on ACAAN - off by one! Smile

I guess that's where the method comes in which apparently he takes the 13th card.

I thought that at the beginning, too. But if you look carefully, it is really the 13th card which is pushed over to the spectator. If you want to be convinced, look once, and then again, and you'll see that the 13th card dealt is dealt in the middle of the pile, and not directly on the 12th card...

Watched the demo last night. Have got to say, this looks very good and direct. As far as ACCAN goes it looks very fair and doesn't seem to have any unnecessary actions in it. Looking forward to this to add to my colection of ACCAN'S.
Nice one Rus.

You're absolutely right - I just watched it full screen in slow-mo, and it is in fact the 13th card. Impressive if it's a true-to-life demo.

If this is the entire performance, the deck has 52 cards different and
the second spectator names any card and not a previous selection the
effect is really good.

Wow! That is black magic! They shuffled, cut and dealt the cards by themselves and still yet to arrive at their chosen card at the chosen number!

Is this going to be for sale or do I have to sell my soul to the devil first? Smile

Anyone that knows Rus' work knows he does not count on plain luck. Rus is one of the most innovative, out of the box thinkers we have.
