Jeff, I own both Prohibition and Provisions, and I do believe Provisions gives an impromtu version visually similiar to Russ's, but I can only guess on Russ's method do to him saying the method is somewhat different. Is the changes in method enough to constitute this effect being an improvement, or just a new handling as Russ has said?
Forgive me, but I also don't see anywhere where Russ says his is better than anyone elses. I do remember him mentioning that he has put his own little touches to a classic effect. |

Hi
I have just sat and watched the provisions disc from start to finish, and the method I'm using is not on there? I know exactly what you are getting at, but the method I'm using is not what you think. Of course Charlie will be heavily credited along with everyone else that has been involved with this plot, I never said they wouldnt be? As mentioned before I never set out to cause such an issue with an impromptu cap in bottle, I would never rip an effect off, or copy an effect, not my style. all I wanted to achieve was a way of doing this completely impromptu whilst the spectator held the bottle, no-one else touching the bottle just the spectator, and I feel I acheieved that, yes I was inspired by Charlie, Justin, Jordan, Vinny and everyone else that has played with this effect, I'm not denying that, and yes they will all be credited. Jeff I will even credit you..... I never thought such a simple effect would cause such an issue..... I'm sorry if I have offended or annoyed any further members or creators of this plot, you will be credited as promised. Im a huge fan of Charlies work, if it wasnt for his work and Costas I would never have discovered this great plot. All the best R |

Its good to see that the Café habit of making decisions without knowledge is still going strong.
With all due respect to those who have come up with ideas around making it look like you've got a cap to penetrate a bottle.... that's ALL YOUVE DONE! By all means whine about someone stealing your solution to world poverty or your cure for cancer but really GET A GRIP |

So, Rus, why have you asked Vinny for permission but not Charlie?

Captured is definitely not a step forward. In my opinion Captured is a step backward and not impromptu.

Would like some clarification as method does not matter when it comes to WHAT they experience and SEE, it only matters to us. Is mine a set up..yep! But since I do not really cast spells and talk to fairies, I have to have a sacrifice somewhere. or maybe you know some magic that I do not? JM |

I looked at this and I liked it....it is visual and impromtu
We could sit here all day moaning.....sorry I mean talking about steps forward , steps back, a new methods and endless points about creating magic. If you like it, great ....if you know other versions that you like, great...and if you are over protective about other versions then stick to it as your mind wont be changed. Magic guys ..not politics If you like this then get it. Has my blessing and it looks great and can be done in a moments notice. Great work Rus |

Why does Russ have to answer Jeff's question? The product has not been released yet, and Russ has made it clear already that those who should get credit will get credit. To me, that answers the question.

I think this looks fantastic Rus. I've never seen a cap in bottle that I wanted to perform until I saw this, it's great. Good stuff!
