I've been for some time looking for the Al Koran Snooker Balls in Pocket effect.

I did at one time buy the Version put out by Derek Levers Taurus Magic under the name
Mento Spheres, frankly it was a rip off at £150 and the quality of the props in my opinion
were not very good.

That aside ever since seeing Graham Jolley perform his version of this routine, its something
I've fancied adding to my show...

And then I came across this - http://www.mreenterprises.co.uk/viewproduct.php?id=948

It seems to be a real bargain price, and I like the idea of using ESP Card's that's already
conjured up many presentational ideas in my mind.

Was just hoping that someone who has this prop could comment on its effectiveness of
operation and also how well its made?

Many thanks in advance...

Eddie's stuff is usually nicely made and very practical. The ad states thet the modus-operandi is the same as 'Mento Spheres' .
I have always thought that the box used in 'Mento Spheres' appears to be suspiciously 'deep' for the five billiard balls sitting near the top of it. Whereas the ESP Mental Stand looks to me like a perfectly standard card stand.
For £34.00 you can't go wrong...I am tempted myself! Smile

Thanks for that, I've actually now ordered it, and then after doing so I found it for sale even cheaper here

So you may want to save yourself about a tenner and order from there...

(that saving would have covered the airmail postage...)

is this a convincing alternative to 'Mento Spheres'?

Well I've now used it in a couple of shows and yes its played very well,

worth every penny, I did have to put a little bit of felt in the secret
area to make it truly quiet though!
