That's what Stephen R. Covey calls a "win-win" situation.

Hmmmmm. I bet she passed a lot of gas.
What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it's all about?
My neighbor rang my doorbell at 2:30 a.m. this morning, can you believe that, 2:30 a.m.!? Lucky for him I was still up playing my drums. |

To those who are wondering why I ate an entire Raw onion, skin and all, as though it was an apple... Chalk it up to creativity. It was only bad luck that I had a dentist appt just after.
I am a high school teacher. Years ago I was teaching in a very rough neighborhood; South Central Los Angeles. A student whom I was trying to coral and get back into the class romm chose to use his elbow to give me a shove. It was like a cross between an elbow blow and a shove. It hurt a lot. as soon as he had done it, he began chanting repeatedly how I was not allowed to touch him. He is right. As a teacher I am not allowed to put my hands on a students in any way beyond perhaps a high five or a hand shake if they do something well. So he hits me and hides behind the rules? Bullspit! No student gets the better of me. The next day I had an onion. Another teacher had a supply from something or other for a lab I think. I stood in front of that student with the onion in my jacket pocket. Yes it made a bulge. If he noticed it at all he had no clue what it was. I locked one foot to the leg of his desk/chair so he could back away, and at the onion in his face, while saying lots of words that started with "H" sounds. The kid cought on fast that I meant business and the rest of the class laughed at him loud and long. He never messed with me again, I did NOT touch himphysically at all, and the message came through loud and clear, "Don't mess with the G-man!" Class dismissed.

Both are fun if you do it right! |

We had a teacher who use to fight students. Only one kid complained and his parents told the school that he called it on himself. He, the teacher, even shacked up with a student starting the day after graduation. Cool teacher.

To the guys who aren't going to the dentist again: YOU'RE not getting a kiss tonight!
(I know--I just gave you an even BETTER reason to NOT go back to the dentist.)
