So after much research, I've implemented a Google +1 feature on my website http://www.nashfung.com
If you have google+, would you please be so kind to click the icon (on the left column under the booking form) and let me know if it works? Now for the SEO savy peeps out there - do you think this actually helps?

Thanks Gman! May I ask which device did you use? (Apple or Windows/ laptop/ phone/ desktop)?
I'm surprised this thread didn't get as much response as I thought. Is it because most of us don't think google + will have any impact? Or we are not ready to implement that to our websites?

Hi Nash -
Google Plus is helpful in tailoring search results to you ...particulary when you are signed into your Google account. For my SEO work, I use separate tools to analyze rank and performance vs. the usual search in your browser. Google also uses Google Plus as a social signal (in addition to Twitter, Facebook and popular social media sites) to help present the best content to the end user. In my business, when I write a blog post, I often post it to Google Plus and other social media channels to generate those social signals. Ofcourse it always helps when others are doing that for you. You're ranking 28 for seattle magician, so you're on to the right start...but you rank 4 for Bellevue magician so I'm assuming you're looking to do work in that location as well. Andy |
