I recommend reading Peter turners material. He uses some methods that go very well with the geas of hypnotism. D*** R******M is something else to use in those situations..

Not real mentaism but an idea I use to run with.
Many years ago when I did stage hypnosis I use to include a fake mindreading type routine in my show that the audience were all in on. It use to play quite well and many times after the shows people would ask about that one skit. Here is the way it went. I would pick one of the participants out and get them to stand at the front of the stage with me. I would then go on to explain to the audience that I had been learning to read peoples minds and that I would give a demo. To start this process I would ask the volunteer something like, "think of your favourite colour" - at that point I would give the command of sleep, ask the person their favourite colour and then tell them that on the count of 3 they would be wide awake but would have no recollection of the last 30 seconds - they would forget they gave me the answer. I would then ask them again to think of their favourite colour and would then reveal it. I would then follow up by asking them to think of a question that I would never know the answer to - they would tell me this question. I would then tell them to "sleep" - get the answer from them, tell them to forget they gave it to me, and carry out the reveal again. This could go on for a few minutes then to finish off I would tell them to sleep and once under again, I would then say to them that on the count of three they would wake up and believe I had just revealed to the whole audience one of their deepest, darkest secrets. This always caused quite a few laughs. Maybe some ideas to run with, Troy |
