More and more great books are being reissued as ebooks by L and L! Will the 2 collected volumes of The Magic Menu be put back on the site soon? They were taken down due to some problem with the files and I havent seen them back on!

We're not sure if or when the Magic Menu titles will be on the site. Chris Wassuber at Lybrary.com has the scanned magazines for sale as downloads: http://www.lybrary.com/magazines-comics-......239.html
The Magic Menu books we publish contains more material than the scanned magazines as bonus items were included in the books. But the immediate digital source for the Menu issues is Chris. |

Oh. My. God.
I've wanted Volume 2 for so long, but it's been cost prohibitive for many moons. For 20 bucks, I can't buy this fast enough. |

Just another suggestion for the new site (hope it's not unwelcome...).
I would like to see publication info like "year published" in there. Us young card guys like to know from what decade this eldritch knowledge comes from. Also, Cardfixes alone (maybe others) refers to itself as a hardbound book. Probably want to make sure all those descriptions are revised before launch day. Btw, as a previously mentioned young card guy...I LOVE that you guys are not only releasing all these old books in digital format (I tend to practice in front of PDF's anyway), but also that they are VERY reasonably priced. Wonderful! Eventually you might want to migrate your videos on there too?

Loyaleagle,
Thanks for the nice comments, the suggestion and the "hardbound" error. A couple of people have suggested the "year published" being included in the product description, so we'll see what we can do about that. Quote:

Wow!! Both of the Alex Elmsley volumes are available for $19.95 each... what an amazing opportunity for all of us! I can't wait to see what titles get added in the future. Hopefully the Magic Menu books will reappear on the site soon.

I'm just having a peek at the contents of Ultra Cervon and I noticed an all backs routine. The all backs I'd love to learn is the one that Jerry Sadowitz did on Stuff The White Rabbit. Can anyone tell me whether the Cervon one is anything like it?
Thanks |

O_O this is very tempting... currently I am pondering about tablets (basically I am waiting for the google tablet) - and as soon as I get this sorted out I will cruise through your offerings. I already did some purchases by lybrary, and as much as I love hardbound books I also hate carrying them around with me... Thanks for the service
All the best, Sven ^^

Actually there's a difference if you purchase from Chris at Lybrary: he is offering a great bundle deal of only $79 for all 12 volumes of Magic Menu (the ones from L & L only cover Vols 1-10 - and were priced at $80 before they were taken down). So I would advise members to buy them from http://www.lybrary.com!

Perhaps a silly question but I cannot see a 'LOG OUT' button on the L & L ePublishing site...
Does anyone know how to Log Out securely? Cheers Matt |

I don't know what you're seeing on your screen, but here's where you do it. And it's not hidden:

My only criticism of these books (having bought three so far) is that they appear to be straight scans of the originals that have been combined into a PDF without any post-processing. I took a few minutes to run my copies through Adobe Acrobat's ClearScan and it improved the resolution of the text, increased the search accuracy, made the pages render faster on my iPad 3, and reduced the size of the PDF to 1/6 that of the downloaded version.
