How is one able to table hop with this using the liquid kicker? Seems impossible with the reset and the difficulty carrying it around without a mess. You can't just pull it out of your pocket and offer to pour a drink. Seems like a parlor or bartender specific routine - but a very nice one. Is this the case?

Hi Denis,
Roger Nicot is a member here at TMC. You could try PM'ing him, he might offer some ideas for you based on his extensive experience with this cup. |

Denis,
Roger also lives in western New York. You could probably just call him sometime. Mark |

I see he lives in Jamestown. I just bought the set from Mark Mason at the Mawny convention in Batavia. It is wonderfully made and I have a little home bar that I can use this with when I have guests over. It is a great stand alone chop cup with out the extra shaker top.

In addition, the fact that it is "food grade" and can be used to mix drinks at your bar before deploying it in a routine is I think a great subsconscious convincer.

If Card Shark Christian was a dealer at MAWNY, Roger was working bios booth. I know they were at FFFF.

Christian was a dealer at MAWNY, Mark Mason didn't mention that Roger was there when I made the purchase.

You know, there are three routines/products that always get brought up when the topic of cocktail shaker chop cup routines comes up. Porper's Cocktail Surprise, Shaken, not Stirred, and a routine of Shoot Ogawa's.
I've not seen any of these, the actual routines that is, I've seen the props advertised. I certainly would love to see them though. Not to side track the thread, just watching the video for this one reminded me of my desire to see the others.

This cup was built specifically for use as a bartender's prop. However, with proper handling and consideration, it could be used as a strolling cup. You might have to leave off the liquid kicker. However, you are free to create your own routine with it.

Hi Denis,
Actually there are quite a few working guys that are using this in a strolling situation. I'm not saying you can perform this time after time without a reset; however the reset on it would only take the average Joe about 2 minutes.... 4 minutes if you aren't so average. If you have access to some paper towels, a waste basket or receptacle and a small bottle of your favorite load beverage, you are good to go. (please... no carbonation) If anyone has any other questions about my Bar Cups....I will be more than happy to answer them. Denis, if you send me a PM I will be more than happy to give you my phone number to clear up any questions. If you have questions regarding someone elses cup or routines, please find them on the appropriate thread. I was at the FFFF as well as MAWNY. For those that don't know it, I am the USA representative for Card-Shark. Due to a gentleman's agreement with Mark, if he is in the same room, I will not sell my cup. Thanks for your interest and your support! |

Hi Guys.....
In order to save time and not answer all the PM's I have received; here is the link to the Card-Shark website and to "The Bar Cup Unloaded." Because I am hand machining each one and due to the demand, each "Bar Cup Reloaded" will be processed in the order with which it was received. Thank you understanding this possible delay in shipment. I am working as fast as I can!! Cheers.......... |

Mr Nicot
Is there such a thing as a magnetic fake ice cube for use with this chop cup? That would be fun. |

I would think you can hide a ma***t in one of those joke ice cubes that have a bug or fly in them. It would be hard to disguise one in a clear cube.

Unless it was really polished/shiny, then it might get lost in the reflections inside the cube? That would make a fun routine - ice, then can of tonic, then lemon, then glass of gin...

Porper's includes a special wand that alone runs over $200, and there is different methodology for the liquid load.
