I need a review on Mad Mojo by Andrew Mayne, and if it would be possible a list and description of the illusions that are in it
thanks Gary
P.S. this is what part of the alphabet would look like if "Q" and "R" were eleminated

I have this, and it's pretty good. I don't have the book with me right now, so I can't give you a list of the contents, but there were a few in there that I use. They're not big illusions like Mayne's other books, though, these are mostly closeup or parlor. There's a neat twist on B'wave that he calls A'wave that I really like, another one using a tea bag and fire that is pretty cool. I thought it was worth the money.

Can anyone tell us about this booklet? Andrew Mayne's stuff can be a little inconsistent.
Many thanks, Xavier. |

I have most of his close up stuff. I think this one is my favorite. Here are a few of the effects:
Flyer- production of a paper airplane from a waded up ball of paper. One Vicious Paper Cut- nice piece with a paper bag and your head. Rain- Mayne’s ‘Snow Storm in China’. Implosion- Good variation on an impromptu trick with a straw and paper ball. And my favorite for kids shows Mutant Balloon Dogs. |
