I found this site by "surfin" on my fave topic (duh! magic of course) and after reading many of the posts, not only am I impressed with the knowledge and wisdom of many, but also overwhelmed at the goodwill which is exhibited in MANY of the posts. So, that is why I decided to join and hope to continue to learn what I started to learn over 30 years ago when I first discovered a book on magic by accident in the school library and have been hooked on ever since.
I have recently decided to pursue my passion in magic that I had forsaken for the not so usual reasons (work, career, bills, blah.. etc.) and in doing so, hope to find myself again in the process. Last but not least, I will be reading as many of the posts as possible although may not be posting any responses unless I REALLY feel a need to. Long live the magic in all of us!!

Welcome Mikesmagic,
Glad to see our desired environment means as much to others as it does to us. 
This is really Steve Brooks' inception, though he'd be the first to say that the guests are what keep The Magic Cafe unique. 
A few perusals will tell you that everyone should feel comfortable posting here. We teach each other so much more when we comunicate. Glad you surfed your way to us. Hope you enjoy your time at The Cafe
