If there is any way in a update to allow to turn a volume down and when you fade to the next song it would be at a set volume , that would be awesome.
You can do that with a Mp3tech I really like the app but that's my only complaint, if I want a song to be full volume to find a spectator from thee audience and then lower it to a background volume and then if I hit the next track as climax music, it would still be at background volume and not a high climax volume. Just a suggestion |

Kyle,
Just set your individual track volume of your climax music track at 100%. Then after any fade, this setting will override and the volume will be back at full! Gary |

Aloha Kyle,
Gary is correct. You can already do what you are looking for with Show Cues by using the individual track volume settings. Thanks, Carl |

Beyond Reality Magic, I've had the same problem with the remote. It works great at home, but when I'm on stage it is unreliable and often becomes completely unresponsive. I've got two remotes and it happens with both of them and I have already had it replaced once. I now will only use it on very small shows where music isn't critical. It's too bad because the app is incredible, but I have to use the remote for it to be useful for me.

SocalMagic and Beyond Reality Magic --
I'm sorry to hear about your problems with the remote. This is not normal and is something I have not personally encountered. Unfortunately each performer has different performing conditions so it make troubleshooting difficult. The remote should operate just as well in a banquet room or auditorium as it does at home in your living room. However, keep in mind that any kind of RF interference can cause issues with reception. The remote is unlike a microphone in the fact that it only has one frequency. Nevertheless, it should operate fine even at 100ft. There may certainly be an issue not only with the remote, but possibly with the receiver. I am happy to provide replacement remotes for anyone having issues. That being said, I always recommend keeping the distance between you and the device as short as possible. Try to get the sound board near the stage rather than the back of the room. I have found, the further away, the more firmly you need to press the buttons. Also be sure to test the remote with itunes on your device as well. BTW, what devices are you using the remote on? I've found the older iPods to not be as responsive as the newer models. The same is true for the phones. My iphone 4S works better than my ipod 4Gen. Neither work as well as my iPad 3. Again, feel free to return the remote for a replacement. As a performer myself, I understand the need for a device that works right every time. IF your remote(s) don't work, please send them back so we can get to the bottom of the situation. Thanks for your support shawn |

I may be on to something here. I curently use a ipod touch 5 but I had a gorilla cases on it. I took it off and it seams to be working better. I have a school show tomorrow so ill try it then. Im also going to take my ipad2 and try that as well. I will run the ipod at a birthday party on saturday and report back on sunday. |

Yes I have noticed that many cases stop the dock from making a good solid connection. I always take off my case when using the dock and I have not had a problem since.
Thanks, Carl |

Just wanted to to throw out this reminder: with version 2.0 and up, you no longer use the center button to fade. You use the "Advance" button to initiate the fade sequence.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the updates recently.
it had been such a pain trying to create the list of music using the ADD feature. it never worked from day one when I bought it. I thought it was me. turns out it was a bug but you fixed it!! thanks as for the remote I use my iphone 5 and don't have to remove the case but I do separate it at the point of insertion so that it fits in properly. of course with the 5 you also need to use an adapter but no problems so far. sam

Quick question,
When I hit the volume down button on the remote, the volume jumps more than half way down. When I hit the up volume is dose it slowly, like its suppose to. It only happens the first time I hit the down volume per track, if I hit again, it go's at a slow speed. Kyle |

Kyle,
The volume can be controlled from the device or the remote. When going from the device controlling the volume to the remote controlling the volume, the first volume press will always jump to the last volume position the remote used. You will find this to be true on Apple's own music player. If you use the remote for volume, after the first volume press it will realize that it is in control and will function normally (unless you go back to manually changing the volume or using the individual track setting to adjust the volume). If you do so, the next remote volume touch will jump to the last known remote volume level and adjust from there. I would suggest doing this while the device is paused so the audience does not hear the jump. |

I tried the remote with my Ipad 2 for Friday s school show. It worked great but halfway thru it stopped working so great. I had to take it off my belt clip and point right at it and click sometimes more then 3 times to advance.
Used it at birthday party on my ipod touch 5th gen yesterday and it still didn't work. So Shuan I think I would like return this one and try another one. I want this to work as the app works so great now. Infact at my show friday I had to make a last minute change and I've never had to do that before. It was easy to do and worked perfectly. Now if I can just get the remote to be reliable. Thanks everyone for your help with this. |

OK I finally received my remote today. I plugged it into the patch to my iphone 5 and nothing. I am not sure if it is the converter plug or the iNAV remote. Can anybody tell me if there is any indication that the iNAV pairs with the ipnone or any indication it is connected? I am trying to decide if it is th iNAV or the converter plug. I don't know someone with an ipad or Iphone 4 for me to test it that way. I may have to do this if I can't figure it out.

Beyond Reality, you should contact Shawn directly about a remote swap, not sure he is on this board that often.
Ron, I do know that the only cables that appear to work with the iPhone 5 connector are the ones from Apple. I have been told the cheap 3rd party cable adapters do not work. |

Hi Carl"
I may have to try that. I am not actually using cables but more of a male female plug. I am hoping it is that rather than the iNAV. Ron Click here to view attached image. |

Ron, I don't have an iPhone 5 yet but was told by more than one person, that only the Apple adapter works. Let me know.

Purchased an Apple version and it worked! I learned my lesson. I am anxious to give this a try now.
