Kevinr. Thanks for buying Show Cues. Sorry you have had trouble. I am sure we can help you with a Skype session. BTW Show Cues does not work on a laptop, not sure if you have us confused with something else?
Send me an email if you need help with Show Cues. Myself and many other customers use Show Cues every show, every week without a problem. Also its so easy to use without a remote by taking advantage of the onscreen cue sheet feature. I can teach anyone to run my music within 30 seconds and do it perfectly, its that easy. So if it is Show Cues you are using and need help, let me know. Remember Show Cues does NOT run on a laptop. Thanks, Carl |

Sorry I meant my Ipod is all it works on. If you look at the countless upset people on here regarding this product I find it shocking you state it works so well. Have you not seen the list of broken promises regarding a working remote? I have several music programs I can look down and click for music and sound effects. I can't be doing that with my magic show. That's to obvious and distracting. Please look through all the pages of everyone excited for the program to work in a real world working situation only to spend hard earned money and be totally let down by the non working remote and feel they wasted money on the remote that is very very unreliable. I would understand if this was a problem only for a few months but this is years now. Any other industry and this product would be history. Only the magic industry puts up with smoke and mirrors and broken date for releases on products.

Kevinr, For every upset person as you call them, there are hundreds without any issues. I personally use Show Cues every show on my cruise ships and never have a problem. We do not manufacture the iJet remote but used them because the are the largest manufacture of iPhone remotes and was the best remote available. If you have a remote issue, Shawn will work with you. If you don't like the iJet, you can use any other remote that you prefer. However your comment of a non working remote is simply not true, as I said, most customers use it without issue.
Now as far as broken promises, I don't think we have done that. We are still working with another company on a new remote but again this timetable is out of our control. We are working with the best electronic manufacture in the business and feel confident they will produce the best remote on the market. We do not have any control over release dates for the remote. I can only tell you what they tell me. They have many other products and working on it as fast as they can. Their quality and reputation for service makes me believe it will be worth the wait. |

Ive been using Show Cues (and the remote) for a couple years in my stage shows. It gets a LOT of use! I've never had an issue with my remote, and the software is a thing of beauty. Carl's improvements continually impress me.
My opinion is that TDS' posts are out of place, and the textbook definition of hijacking a thread. My experience has been that if one cannot make sales without denigrating a competitor that helped forge the path one is on, then I would have no interest in the product or its representatives. |

I've had no issues with the remotes either, and I perform 8-10 shows a week! I love the size of the iNav remote too you can palm it, keeping it concealed from view. The remote for Cue Command appears to be the size of a small mammal with a big ariel too. No thanks. I know who is manufacturing the new remotes for Carl, and all I can say is that it will be worth the wait. Please don't hi-jack this Show Cues thread to plug your own system TDS.

Again, what problems do you all have with the remote?

The issue with the Ijet remotes is the small antenna in the tiny receiver and that they operate in the 433mhz band. 433hz has a lot of interference in certain areas. Or flat out illegal in certain countries.
Its like using a paper clip antenna in your HD TV and hoping to get a clear signal. An easy solution to fix the problem is soldering in a 1/4 wave 433mhz antenna, the range will also increase.
Control your Show Music from a PC from 800 ft away with a remote control. Send me a message to find out how......

Since everyone is going off topic may I suggest 'Soundmaster' by Cesaral for any size venue. http://www.cesaral.com/Cesaral%20Soundmaster.htm. No need for iPods, iPads, iPhones, computers, etc.
We have several remotes and our unit can do so much more than any app and all other competitors and customer support is premium.

I am not sure that this has been discussed.
Considering purchasing Show Cues (now $90.00). For those of you who have experience with the products, would you suggest getting the Show Case remote or iJet remote? |

Frank, Thanks for asking. The manufacturer had set MagicFest as the release goal and obviously he did not make it. They are a large player in the electronics field and very busy so I have no control.
In the meantime Shawn has found another remote company and is very happy with their product. Contact Shawn Popp at conjuringcabinet.com for the latest. This way we will be able to provide a variety of remote to choose from once the other one is ready. Carl |

Meanwhile, Cue Command with its long-range remote transmitter is available right now!
Deceptively Simple, Inc. designs and manufactures our own hardware so we have complete control over the functionality and availability. Cue Command is used by many professional entertainers and certainly worth considering if you need to control your music in a live-sound environment. In addition to the commonly availability features, Cue Command offers the ability to cross-fade from one track to another and an automated way to transition from pre-show to performance mode. Check out the video for more information: http://www.deceptivelysimple.com/webpages/video_tour.html Best always, Team Deceptively Simple |

I've been using Show Cues for the past two years and it is the greatest. I have never had a problem with it and the remote is flawless. Very user friendly and intuitive.

I've been using mine for just under 4 years and have never a problem with the remote or the software. I've looked at competitors, but the extra hardware and wiring concerns me due to the increased opportunities for something to go wrong. And anyone that uses electronics and cabling/connectors knows what that means. I like staying with tried and true developers and products that work consistently.
Show Cues is quick and easy to set up, and reliable through hundreds of shows in all sorts of venues. That track record, and the track record of the developers is important to me since my livelihood depends on it. |
